Paging Emma Frost....
Who: Scott and Emma
What: Therapy Session
When: 9pm on the night he arrives.
Where: Mansion
Rating: Eh, I would say pg-13, but with Emma it could be R. Never know.
It was his first day being back at the school, and a lot had already happened. He had a meeting with Kitty Pryde and Ororo upon arrival, which was more of an emotional battle than anything. He had found a box of his things in storage, and reclaimed his ruby quartz glasses. Scott had been so happy, he let out an uncharacteristic "Whoop" of joy. Seven years of wearing the field visor, he was read for the glasses again.
After returning, he learned that Xavier and Jean had died while he was away. As hard as that was to handle, he still needed someone to look into his mind and help him with his demons. Normally, that would have been Charles. He knew the history of Scott Summers, and the way through his brain. The only other woman who knew this was Jean. But with them both gone, Scott wasn't sure who to go to. It was something Kitty said about Emma Frost that got him to seek her out.
Scott didn't really have a lot of history with Emma. She had become a more permanent part of the team after Jean died...the first time. So when she started to help around the School, he was dealing with the loss of his fiance. Shortly after that, he was thought dead. He could remember what the woman looked like. A dynamo of beauty but a hint of cold bitterness. From what he knew, she kinda scared him before. Maybe some things had changed in the past decade, but he needed help and she was the only choice.
As he arrived at what he assumed was her office, he knocked. It might have been her sleeping quarters, but asking some random students let him there. He wasn't really up to date on the arrangements of the mansion, but he would learn quickly. The knock was solid, but gentle. Nothing that would make someone angry, just let them know someone was there to see them. Maybe Emma remembered more about Scott, because he was in such a mental mess before. That would be awkward, if they had some serious bond and she remembered, but he had forgotten. It was still a risk.
So he waited there, outside a door to an office or room, wearing the same clothes he arrived in. The simple blue jeans with a red t-shirt. His leather jacket was left in his temporary sleeping area, and he had his fashionable glasses back. For most people it would seem like a unproductive day, that was impossible to find anything good in. But for Scott, he was back with his family, and he didn't have to wear the bulky visor anymore. No matter what happened, Scott Summers would remember this as a good day.
