Drabble Day: Prompt No. 13
Wow, has it been an hour already? I will never, ever get caught up! Good thing there's still many hours to go before we're done!

And here's a little reminder from Mönchen. Not that any of you need it!

Prompt No. 13 is: Misty Morning

He's not sure what wakes him... the misty gray morning is all silent opalescent light filtering into the windows. One is blocked by a firm, naked body. Perhaps this is what woke him... a coolness in the bed beside him.

He doesn't look around. “Go back to sleep.”

Marc climbs out of bed and wraps arms around his chest. “You miss him, don't you?”

Deniz nods.

Marc grins and kisses his neck. “He'll be back next week. Now come back to bed.”

Deniz does. For a little while, Marc makes him forget to miss Roman.

I blame 13 hours of LotR watching. And a sleep-deprived brain. IDEK.
Faramir wades into the river, early morning mist swirling around his knees. In the dream, the water feels like Southron silk. The Elven boat glides closer, swanlike prow looming out of the mist. He knows what he will find within. In his waking life, he has known for days; the absence of his brother is a leaden ache inside his chest.

But the still figure in the boat is not Boromir but a freckled maiden with long gold-brown hair. When Faramir leans over her, she gazes at him mournfully. "I was perfect," she whispers.

"This," says Faramir, "is passing strange."

Momo: Awesome Oliver by Wildepet[info]momogermany on May 16th, 2011 03:40 am (UTC)
On a misty morning in Bondi Beach, a disappointed Oliver Sommer hangs up the phone.

“Lars has declined my job offer. Going to Russia instead.”

Celine pours him a coffee “Looks like the Russians have all the money nowadays, dear”

Oliver shakes his head. “ It's not about money. He mentioned having found out about something that he didn't know before and can't talk about at the moment. Very odd.

“Now that sounds pretty fishy to me,” Celine agrees.

“Bah, he's probably just googled the price of Vodka,” Zoe quipped, before digging back into her cornflakes.

Heee! Lars on the trail, that's awesome! And Celine's "sounds pretty fishy."

Vodka is cheap, Lars. It would be a very good... I mean dangerous place for you!

I laughed at the fishy fish, too.

Vodka can be really dangerous; especially in combination with other addictions. So there's going to be a lot of fun for Lars in Russia. Chasing the dragon. (Oh, that was sth else)
