Okay, trying something new this game week.

Since I have a billion characters (and I totally do and am completely shameless about it), I've decided to do a spreadsheet for my character's schedules for the week and what not. So This is said spreadsheet. Obviously it's not completely filled in right now, but that needs to be changed! So, if any of you guys want scenes with me, just comment here or messaged me on AIM and I'll start filling in all the stuff I've got planned for this game week. Positions need to be filled, all are welcome to apply!

We hope this will help you guys feel more like you're taking part in making this game great! All comments are screened and will remain that way. Go ahead and give us some ideas! Hello there!

I'm Laine, and I'm bringing in Vienna. She's an entirely unaffiliated 24 year old human, and she works as an exotic dancer. You can read all about her in her journal, but for now I'll give you guys a little basic information about our girl Vee. Her favourite things include her work, playing video games, smoking, champagne cocktails, and her dog Oscar. Her least favourite things include being treated with disrespect, cleaning her apartment, cooking and going outside in the rain. She is perfectly friendly, smart, witty, and enjoys banter with anyone who can keep up. She tends to be better at befriending guys than girls, with a few exceptions, and will happily spend an afternoon hanging out as 'one of the guys'. Honestly her home and her work persona and appearance are somewhat different.

So, I'm looking for all kinds of lines for her - anything goes really and you can get me here or on AIM at unholy.trinity - I'm very friendly and will happily plot or scene there!

Hello, lieblings. I'm Beck and I'm going to be bringing in Troy, and he is a whirlwind of flavor.

Quick stats on Troy (getyouwet): He's 29, a water elemental, a Navajo, a musician, works at Ink Ink, is pierced and tattooed to Alaska and back, and wears his heart on his short sleeve. He's 6'5" and an Aries, which goes against his watery abilities, so he can seem a little contradictory on occasion. Somehow, he makes it work. :D He is bisexual, by the way - but doesn't care for petite people so much as he does fellow giants or curvy folks. Troy: "Dicks need no apply." He needs friends and everything else, so hit me up on AIM.

About me, Beck (celtic_cherokee): I'm 26, a nerd, live vicariously through my characters so far as their fun habits go, I'm a mother (Natalia! - who looks just like her daddy), and a wife, and I work at Teavana. These are the scene lotto results. We ended up drawing three or four times because we kept ending up with four or so characters that all belonged to the same player so we asked Mish to shorten her list. We went ahead and randomly chose six of her characters (we actually did a random drawing for those as well lol), and with the fewer characters we were able to randomly match everyone with someone :) The Results are as follows.

Discovery


Each scene from the lotto must have something to do with discovery. Your characters could do anything from 'discovering' a new place to hang out, 'discovering' a secret, or even 'discovering' a cool shirt at the local boutique. Please have fun with this you guys! We hope this breads some new awesome connections and look forward to doing another lotto soon!

So, in effort to make the game a bit more interesting and challenging for everyone, us mods have decided to incorporate a new little fun activity once a month. The scene lotto will be pretty much exactly as it sounds, but we're throwing in a few little fun factors. Basically all you have to do is post a reply to this entry with all your characters that you'd like to include in the lotto. Please note that you do not have to include all of your characters. You're welcome to have one or all or even none of your characters participate if you so choose.

Once the scene lotto sign up has closed, which will happen in a few days, one of us mods will toss the names into a hat and pair up characters randomly. Those characters will then get to scene together thus making new connections that might not normally have been tossed at one another. On top of the random factor, we'll give you a random prompt to go along with the scene. The prompt will be the same for all the characters entered in the scene lotto to see just how different each pairing can take the prompt. For example, if the prompt is 'whipped cream', the scenes could range in a varied array from sexual encounters to random meetings at a coffee shop over a cup of cocoa with whipped cream.

That being said, we want you guys to have fun with this so please post all the characters you'd like to have included in the scene lotto. Sign ups will end on the 15th or when we have a decent amount of characters to mix and match.

Hello!

Just taking a moment to introduce myself (Kota) and Senna, who runs with Vampires. Sen doesn't come from any fandom, she's original, cute as a button and looking for a fresh start in a new city.

She hails from New York City and is currently a student, a year away from her Doctorate degree in environmental biology, and volunteers nights at a blood donor clinic where her knowledge of the supernatural comes in handy. A lot of Vamps prefer to get their blood through such places these days because it's a lot less conspicuous than leaving dead bodies around (that's the official story and we're sticking to it), and since they value the discretion of humans involved in the 'skimming' process, she manages to make herself useful.

She is a conservative Catholic but also a modern and scientific woman (almost an oxymoron, I know) and has no prejudice against anything supernatural, although she isn't particularly fond of people-eaters. Her adopted sister, Sasha Vandmar, belongs to a very old and powerful Vampire family and is well-known in their community. Sasha occasionally visits her in Ontario but has homes all over the continent.

She can be found volunteering at homeless shelters and in soup kitchens in her spare time, particularly during the holiday season, but her taste for finer things is impeccable and she would love to meet a friend who could show her some of the finer dining experiences in the city, or perhaps a good musical theatre. She dislikes bullies and overbearing men, but loves charity, chocolate, eclaires, and Christmas in the city.

So I, Crystal, have a tendency to get in a mood where I change everything for no good reason. I have gotten into this mood and went ahead and updated the layouts for the mod journal and both the in character and out of character community. :) Check out the new digs everyone!

Aaaah! Okay, so apparently IJ isn't sending me notifications or something, because I didn't get my asylum invites until just now! Anyway, my name is Amy K. and I'm newish around here! I've known Ebony for a while and I think I've probably been in games with a few of you before, but this is my first solid character here.

Her name is Celia Dawson, a 209 year old vampire hailing from the South of the United States. She is a timid, docile thing (as docile as you can be when you need blood to survive, that is) with no intention to harm anyone. She has traveled North with her werewolf companion and stays mostly in the forests in an abandoned home that she found. Cecelia has not been in society for more than 150 years, and so knows little of the modern world. Electricity and vehicles frighten her, and modern clothing would probably make her laugh.

Overall she is friendly, but quiet, and often seems cold to those that don't know her. She says little, but what she does say is often meaningful. She can use just about anything in the way of a social life, so let me know what might work with you!

Okay, fair warning given. This is Dee, again. I give you Maximus Lasko, Elias' twin brother. While Josh is like Team Dad, Max is kind of Team Mom. He's the peacekeeper, the one who keeps morale up and tries to keep the family together. Lately, that's been harder than usual with everybody running off all the time doing their own thing.

So, who wants him first?

Hey guys, it's Cait and I'm bringing in "Rufus", Annie's ex who's ka-ka-ka-crazy.

Rufus is an Encantado, and I put the info about what exactly that is under the cut. He'll be building himself up another nice little hell hole with prostitutes and drug dealers in the area, or will at least try to. So if any of your kids need a fix, you know where to find him ;D

I've got him pretty much open for plot too (besides his "ownership" over Annie). Despite the being all lovely and evil, he's pretty charming. Really! I swear he won't bite.

Hey there everyone! Just wanted to pop in with a few little notes. The first is that we've set up a locations page located here. If there are any other locations that you'd like to have added, just drop us a note about it on the locations page and we'll add them up. Please include a link to the picture you'd like used that gives a visual of the subject of the particular add in. Also, if we've missed any people who work and/or go to school at any of the current places, feel free to poke us about that as well on the locations page.

The next note is to remind everyone that the August/September Nominations post, located here still could use more nominations so we can get to posting up the voting post. So please, in the next week, stop by that post and put in your nominations. We'll give you until Sunday night to do so before we post the voting list Monday. Sorry I disappeared this last week, I apparently have allergy problems now, and since I've just been coming off of an eye and tear-duct infection I've been trying not to tax my vision too much--also trying not to tempt myself to touch my eyes too much since they've decided that allergies are as good a reason to water as any @_@. Sooo, I've been wanting to post and play and plot on aim, but since my job is reading, and my degree involves an enormous amount of reading, I had to give up extra-curricular reading for the week so my eyes could have a break and hopefully heal up once and for all! :(

Anyway, I think I'm back though! Feeling much better today :) and I should be available! :) unless my body decides to disappoint me some more this semester -_-
