Today is going to be very good or very bad. Ballot done. Got my sticker.
Pretty sure there isn't a middle ground.
Part of me wants to dive in and be engrossed in everything. The other parts thinks a good big distraction for the night would be far more productive.
Least it's a party on Friday, that is definitely something worth looking forward to doing. |

While one of my costumes is a surprise, one shouldn't be. I do some variation every year and this one is no different.

Children, if you're a vomiting mass and it's not Halloween (YET), then don't come to class. The others will appreciate it and I won't get angry and do something rash like extra papers or test.... although....
Now it is Hump Day, use it wisely.

Hmmm... seeing as I am Servita free and it is humpday, I have narrowed what to do down to a) a terribly evil quiz for students tomorrow OR b) find occupying trouble of my own.
Seeing as how I am looking at this bottle of glorious red sitting on my counter, it could be leaning toward the former.
Then again I could plan a grueling practice for the squad. Now there is an idea. |

Happy Monday. Happy one more week of break for most of us. This is the first cheer squad memo for the year. It is usually only 1 of 2 that are public for obvious reasons. First game has already happened. A big thank you to all the squad who could make it; I know it is difficult to cut your break early so it is appreciated.
For all those interested in trying out for the cheer squad this year, listen up.
Tryouts will be on Wednesday morning, Sept 14th, 16th at 11am, and afternoon at 2pm, north end of the football field. It will end when it ends.
The audition attire is short lycra type shorts and crop top/bra top for the girls; tanktop and athletic shorts for the guys. Dance or tennis shoes. That's it. No, I don't care what color they are. Yes it will count if you don't follow the rules.
You will dance freestyle for one minute to the music provided by the squad captain. (that's me)
After the audition the number will be cut in half, or 20 which ever comes first, and then those remaining will learn a group routine for the semi-final audition. Once those are done, the final squad will be chosen and revealed on Friday Sept 16th. No, it wouldn't be a good idea to bug me about the final list before it's posted on Friday. Yes I can also be bribed, but it could make me think less of you. Yes if you were on the squad before you still need to try-out; you should already know this.
If the weather doesn't hold, we will move into the gym. |

A reminder to everyone that tonight is the reopening of Sapphire. All weekend we will be having two for one drinks and lap dances. Sorry folks, anything more than a lap dance is full price unless you talk the dancer into it real sweet like.
And remember, all dancers are owned by the club while they are at the club. So play by the rules and everyone can have a grand old time. Any questions or special requests find me or Professor Herrera, and we'll see if we can find someone to fit your needs.
We will be open every week from Thursday to Sunday (Hey, everyone needs a couple of nights to actually study) nights. We are still hiring dancers and servers for anyone interested in a little extra cash. Male and female are both welcome. Even ladies need someone nice to drool over, you know?

Do you know why I love the summer session so much? Nothing but dance classes, fitness, and studio time. Everything hurts from ramping up the intensity, but it's my own personal heaven. |

The Greek event is upon us. I hope everyone attending will enjoy themselves. We look to out do ourselves with money raised to charity. A nice fun time to avoid end of term papers, reports and tests, definitely a very good thing. |
