Had a treat yo self kind of evening, and may have gone slightly overboard. I blame Owen, since he's the reason I went to the mall in the first place.

Anyway, I now have all four of the Funko Pop! Gerard Way figures, two new Harley Quinn t-shirts, a new dress, and a cute new vintage-style bikini that will look fantastic when I wear it on the 4th. Is it too early to start thinking Halloween? I mean, I'm torn between costume ideas already.

[Private to friends' of Charlotte]
If anyone doesn't have plans for the upcoming 4th, my father is throwing a cookout and urged me to invite people.

[Private to Professor Lupo]
Sir, if it's not too much trouble, I'd like your advice regarding my servita, please.

That dress is gorgeous, and will look amazing on you. But the important detail here is that it is never too early to start thinking Halloween, and anyone who says it is will be stabbed by my Scream knife. Maybe the fake one. Maybe not. I haven't decided.

The saleslady tried to tell me the red was too bold for my colouring and that I should go for a blue, but I love the way it makes my eyes pop. Halloween is my favourite holiday, last year my Victorian Zombie costume was a hit when I went to Salem.

Bold is the whole point where red is concerned. I get into bad habits of dressing as the same handful of things and cycling them out every year, but how can I say no to Malificent, or Elizabeth Bathory, or being a Tim Burton character in real life?

Exactly. And why wear a dress like that if you don't want people to notice? Variations on the Zombie theme tend to be a constant, or I go straight out silly. I once dressed up as Reptar, from Rugrats, all because people assumed I'd do something sexy.

The entire idea baffles me, but then I always want to be noticed. Silly is always a nice change, and I bet that costume was much warmer and more comfortable than what others were wearing that night.

I'm not a ninja, nor do I want to be. And silly can be more fun, especially when people don't know the person in the dino-themed onesie is a normally serious psychology student.
