Who: Dinah Lance, Dick Grayson, Danny Rand
What: Dinah invites Dick out to Wednesday Night Fight Night to get him a job interview.
Where: The School of Thunder, New York City, NY
When: Wednesday, December 26th [backdated]
Rating: PG-13 for friendly violence
Dressed for the cold weather, Dinah waited for Dick out on the street, hints of steam still rising from the engine of her motorcycle. She didn't think he would have any trouble finding the place... mostly Dinah was waiting outside for a chance to see what new modifications he'd added to his own bike (in action at that!). She kept the hood of her sweatshirt up over her head to fight off the light snow that had started to fall, and shoved her hands deeper inside her jacket pockets.
She glanced back towards the school doors, then out to the streets again, looking them up and down and waiting for the tell-tale sounds of engine revving to announce Dick's arrival.
Motorcycle enthusiasm aside; she hoped this meeting went well. She was certain that Dick could be just the kind of person who could really help Danny get a new school off the ground in Gotham; if he had enough time. Dick was determined and driven and compassionate-- able to work long hours without much complaint, to have patience with kids (and kid-like individuals); not to mention that he was an exceptional martial artist. She was certain that Danny would see all of this- and more besides, probably. The only difficulty would be getting them to trust one another without flat out saying that everyone here was a superhero. Revealing Dick's identity was only a step off from revealing Bruce's; which was not something that Dinah would take a chance with. Besides; it wasn't her place to reveal anyone's identity; and she was going to try to avoid any kind of explicit comments about such things as much as possible. Hopefully they'd both trust her enough to let her vouching for either of them stand on its own, unquestioned.
Stepping back to stand under a wide awning and to avoid anymore snow, Dinah checked the time on her phone and waited, looking down the streets again.
