"Doesn't he always? If you left Christmas without gaining a few pounds, I think Alfred would be disappointed." She joked lightly, shaking her head a little. "Things are good, the usual." Dinah said with a slight roll of one shoulder, looking towards the empty school.
She heard them before she saw them in the dark, little feet scurrying about and above. Instinctively, Dinah held one hand out to keep Dick behind her (despite him not being a kid who needed protecting), and tilted her head to one side.
"Do you hear that?" Dinah asked, just as the children and their guns came into view.
Well, rats.
Dinah jumped forward and to one side, ducking back behind the coat rack to avoid the first wave of Nerf darts, rolling her eyes at the kids cackling, "And sometimes he gets children to do his dirty work."
