With Oxford being shut down thanks to Skull damage Violet had too much time on her hands. So she was back in the one place she felt safe besides the home of her host family: the junk shops and junk yards of London. She had heard rumors and was more scared than ever, she had to find Klaus and Sunny given all this. As she gathered supplies to replace what she had used during the invasion she put out feelers about her family, getting several good leads in the process. But one lead made her smile in spite of things, there had been talk of a teen boy in Brighton that had lead a small scale effort and had success against the Skulls. *Has to be Klaus!*.

Nobody expected a group of Oxford science major to take those ships as a warning, having come up with enough weapons to stock a small army in the process. The leader of the group was Violet Baudelaire along with 3 other science majors, none of them knowing every weapon had been used against Count Olaf who knows how many times while on the run. When the invasion started they sprung into action, setting traps and arming students with everything from homemade bombs (via a biochemisty major) to Violet's version of a female MacGuyver and her homemade weapons from several office trash cans, a recyling bin found in a closet and the campus refuse bin. But nobody knew this, nobody knew how badly Count Olaf had effected the young science major and the Skulls only triggered her need to finally fight back.

"In my soul this is me fighting back against Olaf" as she sent a homemade crossbow dart into a Skull. "Besides never mess with the Oxford version of science geeks" as she cocked another shot.

But the little band was holding up very well minus mostly minor injuries so far but even they could use a little help in the fight.

It had been another day for Violet Baudelaire as she left the junkyard with a fresh bag of parts and plenty of fresh ideas. But at the same time she knew something was very amiss, she had been hearing talk of something called Subsiders and was armed via a small crossbow she had created a few days before. As she called a good night to the yard foreman she could hear something in the distance, even now she was still on guard post Olaf as she bared her weapon to only find a single Subsider. So she shot off a single volley and easily won,"But rather unusal" she quickly realized as she tried to see if anyone was around besides her.
