WHAT: Evie cuddles and some pissed off Merry Men
WARNINGS: Talk of Addy's assault

Addy had been hurt. They had let their co-parent go face breaking up with her partner alone while they stayed and cuddled their daughter. And Addy had been brutalised. Tuck was taking the guilt of it pretty hard, though he was keeping that well quiet, instead focusing on cursing out the person who could hurt someone as amazing as Addy. At least it was somewhat more productive?

They arrived at the Ceredig’s place, Evie all bundled up and in Will’s arms and Tuck following behind with all of her things. Rhiannon answered the door before they even knocked, and Tuck gave her a sad smile. She looked stressed, like she hadn’t slept. Well, Tuck supposed, so did he. He went to kiss her on the cheek, and she offered them both a smile. “The twins and Henry are downstairs in Iestyn’s lounge. Thank you for coming, she’s been so anxious to see Evie.”

“Of course,” Tuck answered, nodded. “We wanted to come as soon as we could.” Tuck stalled for a second, putting off going downstairs to face what Josh had done to someone he adored so much. His dear Addy, who had already been through such terrible things. He couldn’t put it off forever though, so he nodded at Will and he led the way downstairs.

What he hadn’t expected to see, was Addy smiling brightly, sitting on the sofa between her boys. “My baby!” she cried out happily, and she jumped off the sofa to dash towards them, her arms outstretched. Henry looked like he was terrified she was going to hurt herself, but she reached them easily. Her face was covered in bruises, and one of her eyes was mostly swollen shut. She was moving like she was in pain, and her voice was gravelly, her neck bright purple from the bruises there too.

And yet she was beaming.

Evie started making happy noises when she saw her mother, leaning out of Will's arms and trusting that Addy would be there in time to catch her. Will was happy to pass her off, although the bruising gave him pause. A great amount of pause. That fucker.

"Hey, she's fine, lots of sleep, big feed, just been changed," Will said, getting all the basics out of the way before jumping into, "So what the f- heck happened?"

Addy reached out and caught Evie easily, though the weight of her twinged Addy's ribs. "Ooof," she winced. "Right, sitting down. Sitting down is better," she hissed, as Tuck sort of dove forward to help support her arms.

Tuck helped her back over to the sofa, and Addy sat down, holding Evie in her lap. "Hi, my little love," Addy crooned, before planting kisses all over Evie's face, making her giggle. Then she looked back up at Tuck and Will who both looked scared and upset.

"I'll make everyone tea," Henry jumped up and headed into the kitchen to fuss about.

"I went to break up with Josh because I realised he was the one being controlling not Iestyn. Only Josh decided for some reason that me wanting to break up with him meant I was sleeping with my brother. Can't make this stuff up," she groaned.

	Will's eyes flicked to Iestyn for a moment, who looked kinda pissed and uncomfortable, then back to Addy. "He sounds f- heckin' deluded," he said with disgust. "Off his goshdarn rocker." He was really trying not to swear so much around the baby, he really was. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Will trying to be adamant without swearing was kind of adorable. "You think that's deluded, he thought Evie was Iestyn's too." Addy covered Evie's ears and said, "called her a freak baby." "That fucking shit!" Tuck hissed, his eyes flashing. He was glad Evie's ears were covered. "Where is he?!" Tuck looked half ready to charge out the door and kill Josh himself. 	Sometimes, Will missed the days where he could just walk around with a sword on his hip and nobody minded. Or at least a knife in his boot. Stick some arsehole forester and slip away into the trees. Sadly, not this time. "You want us to take care of it for you?" he offered, giving her a meaningful look. "It'd be quick and tidy but I don't guarantee painless." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Will gave Tuck a very dark look, so they both knew they were on the same page. Addy might be chuckling, but they sure weren't. Not right now, anyway. "Suppose you must've," he said, stroking the little girl's head. "Funny how people can turn on a dime like that. You say the police are onto him?"
