Entry tags:ariadne, friar tuck, will scarlet

WHO: Ariadne and Friar Tuck and then Will Scarlet
WHEN: Friday night
WHERE: Dion's place
WHAT: Tuck drank some shroom tea
WARNINGS: Drugs and silliness

Ariadne had handed in her thesis and Tuck had texted her that he wanted to help her celebrate. He had arrived at Dion's place, flowers and dinner in hand. Then he had offered to make her an after dinner drink, before they retired to...other activities.

It had been wine for Ariadne and good old tea for Tuck. They had chatted and consumed their drinks before returning to...well a bedroom, who knew who it belonged to, really? And Tuck had sat on the bed, pulling Ariadne into his lap to kiss her. One hand rested on her lower back and the other went to tangle in her hair, as he deepened the kiss.

"Noooooooo, you should not eat the mushrooms, pumpkin," Ariadne said, half laughing. "Or rather- you are most welcome to come and eat some mushrooms some other night, but you better convince me you want to eat them when you're sober. Then we can have all the mushroom fun you like, but not tonight. Sound good?"

Will felt quite strongly that Tuck should not come back and start tripping on mushrooms anytime soon, especially with winter coming if he was going to start getting bare-ass naked every time, let alone any other drug-related reason. "No, we are not eating the mushrooms," he agreed with Ariadne. He glanced at her then, with a slight frown, but kept his tone light and unworried. "So... how long would you expect this to last?"

As high as Tuck was, he noticed the little frown on Will's face. Of course, being high, there was no hint of subtlety left inside him. "He's worried because I'm an addict!" Tuck informed Ariadne, very loudly, and then he made an 'oopsie' face.

"Then maybe we won't be doing any more mushrooms in the future," Ariadne said with an understanding nod. She kept any worry for him well off her face and well out of her voice; calm and chill, that's what you wanted with mushrooms, not stress, not anxiety. "You're probably going to be tripping for another few hours, I don't know what kind of schrooms they were, so it's hard to say. Four to six is normal, for mortals anyway— you might be different? We'd had a big dinner," she added, to Will. "So they'll move through your stomach a bit slower than if you were hungry. If you want to sober up a little faster, Tuck, drinking some water will help."

Four to six hours. Okay. Will could manage four to six hours. And then straight to bed with some painkillers and a gallon of water. And tomorrow... they'd talk.

He didn't want to get worked up. Tuck was enjoying himself right now, and they could keep this on a gentle, happy ride, right? No spinning off the deep end and drowning in the nature of existence or anything. "Water! That's a great idea," he said, and gave Tuck a smile to cover his clenched teeth. "Water and a shirt. Where's that shirt? Hey?" He'd wanted to tell Ariadne about the addiction privately, but guess that wasn't happening.

"Bedroom!" Tuck said, since that was where he had last seen his shirt. He looked back to the stars, not at all worried about four to six hours. That sounded really nice. And so did the breeze in the trees. Like it was singing to him. "Our existence is so funny," he murmured.

"I've always thought so," Ariadne said, joining him in a wistful gaze up at the stars, but her gaze didn't last nearly as long as his would've, if Will wasn't there gently tugging them all toward shirts. "Through this way," she said, stepping toward the door and looking back at Tuck. "You want to come inside, Tuck? See the wonders of the kitchen with new eyes?"

Will held his breath for a moment, pressing his lips tightly together. Fucking... great... But then Ariadne was stepping up and steering the way, and Will turned to Tuck and offered his elbow like a gentleman escorting a lady. "Come on. Lets get you inside. Everyone can see your nipples," he said with a teasing wink.

That broke Tuck out of his reverie and he looked up at Will and giggled. Then he stood and let Will take his arm, leading him back into the house and towards the bedroom.

"I love you so much," he informed Will, as they walked. "You glow, you know? So beautiful."
