Tuck loved having his kids around. Michaela had come over early to help him cook, and Tuck felt like he could walk on the ceiling as they fussed around the kitchen. They were making something relatively simple - spaghetti with pesto sauce and meatballs, but because it was Tuck everything was made from scratch. Michaela had kneaded the pasta and run it through the pasta maker while Tuck prepared the meatballs and shaped them by hand. While Tuck cooked the meatballs up, Michaela sang to him.

Finally Tuck put everything together, covering it in roasted pine nuts and he cooked it up while Michaela checked on the garlic bread.

There was a knock on the door and Tuck grinned. "Just in time! Will you take over here? I think if you answer the door, Iestyn might have a heart attack," he said, handing over the spatula to a giggling Michaela. Tuck pulled open the door and grinned at the trio there beyond it. "Come in, come in all of you!"

Iestyn was doing a pretty good job of holding his shit together, he thought. He wasn't even wearing any fan merch, just a regular floral shirt and jeans and boots against the cold. As he waited on the step with Addy and Henry, he flashed an excited grin at the both of them.

As Tuck opened the door, he waved and then stepped in with a bit of a bounce. "Hi! Thank you for inviting us," he said, trying not to look around for anyone else in the room (but totally looking).

"So good to see you, Iestyn!" Tuck hugged his young friend and then offered a hand for Henry to shake. "Nice to meet you, Henry."

"And you!" Henry said with a smile. He moved with Iestyn futher in so Tuck could greet Addy.

"Tuck!" Addy cried happily, throwing her arms around him.

"Oh goodness! Hi, Addy!" Tuck laughed, giving her a little squeeze. "How are you?"

"Both of us are fine," Addy winked. "You wanna say hi to your daughter?" she asked, pointing to her bump.

Tuck, who hadn't wanted to he presumptuous and call the baby his in any way, was overwhelmed with gratitude by Addy doing so.

Don't cry, don't cry, don't cry.

He went to his knees and placed his hands on Addy's belly. Gently, Addy placed hers over his. "Hi there, sweet girl! I'm so excited to meet you. We're going to have so much fun together."

Michaela, who was feeling a little cheeky, sidled up behind Henry and Iestyn to watch the cuteness. "Uh oh, someone let dad talk to a baby. We're going to be here a while!"

Will hadn't been planning on getting involved in this touching family moment, but he'd chosen that moment to decide to get himself a cup of tea and walked into it before he'd realised. Tuck was on his knees, gushing at Addy's belly, and he paused to watch, glancing up at Addy's face to see how she was taking it.

Iestyn had been watching them, a little bemused, felt all the hair prickle down the backs of his arms. He blinked and turned his head, and gulped.

She was out of drag, but she still looked amazing. He tried not to stare but he couldn't help it. "Hhhhhhiiii," he said, and went red.

Addy was loving it. "He's Daddy Tuck!" Aderyn told her belly, "and he's going to read you stories and give you cuddles and play games with you!"

"And read bedtime stories," Tuck added, grinning. He glanced over, noting Will watching them and he sort of faltered, pulling his hands back. Addy didn't notice at all, and she squealed and went to hug Will

Michaela chuckled and she held out a hand for Iestyn to shake. "Iestyn, right? I'm Michaela." Henry smiled widely at her and he nudged his boyfriend.

"Hi," Will said with a smile, giving Addy a hug back. "Feeling alright?" He looked at Tuck over her shoulder, raising his brows slightly. He wasn't mad about it at all, just a little bemused, and anyway of course Tuck would get right into it.

Iestyn made a grin that was halfway to being a grimace, feeling a bit star struck. "Um. Yes. I know. I mean, I am. Hi." He took her hand to shake, almost like her arm was going to turn into a snake and bite him for daring to touch such an amazing person.

Tuck hadn't been worried Will would be mad, just that he might feel overwhelmed by Tuck's excitement. He couldn't exactly convey that in a facial expression though, so he just blew Will a kiss.

Addy clung for a second longer and then she released Will and nodded. "Feeling great! Then she looked at her brother and groaned. "Iestyn, you're being weird!"

Michaela laughed as she shook Iestyn's hand. "Siblings, hmm? Come on, let's sit at the table," she said, waving them towards the chairs. "Dad and I have been cooking for two hours because he doesn't know how to make dinner like a normal human."

"I'm a perfectionist," Tuck laughed, and he moved back into the kitchen to grab the food. The table was already set, so all he needed to do was carry it over.

Will had been going to give them space and eat separately, but now that he was here, why not join in? It was easy enough to squeeze in one more place setting. He plonked himself down next to Tuck's chair, so he could watch the kids and not have to get stuck between them.

Iestyn looked at Henry with wide eyes. "ohmygod I'm fucking up already," he whispered as they approached the table. "I'm being too weird!"

Tuck pushed the bowl and serving spoons towards Addy first, as well as the bowl of freshly grated parmesan to garnish it. Then he turned to the side to kiss Will's temple. He hadn't expected Will to join them, but he was thrilled that Will had.

"You are not fucking up," Henry whispered to Iestyn, and he patted his boyfriend's hand. "This looks and smells incredible," he said loudly to Tuck. "Thank you so much for cooking!"

"Oh it's no trouble, I love it," Tuck waved his hands around.

"Dad tells me you are interested in drag," Michaela said to Iestyn, grabbing herself a big of garlic bread. "And that you performed at his drag night?"

"We both did!" Addy spoke up, handing the serving spoon over. "He sings live too, he is SO talented!"

Michaela grinned, "is that so?"

Iestyn laughed, a little too weirdly. "We- we did," he said, blushing again. "We sang in church back home. But that's... I mean... we didn't perform a church song. Not that church songs are bad-" he hastened to reassure the pastor whose house they were in.

Will smirked. "Lush and Fertyl Valley, wasn't it?" he drawled. "Guess which one's Fertyl." He shot Addy a wink, leaning back in his chair, and Iestyn grimaced, suddenly worried that Michaela would think that was the stupidest drag name she'd ever heard. "Sang a Carpenters song," Will continued. "It was pretty good for a first go."

	Tuck, who didn't need to be reassured at all, snorted a little bit. Then he grinned as Will joined in. "I'm Fertyl!" Addy laughed. "And I think we were awesome!" "Lush Valley! "It was just an interest through school... I grew up on a diet of Drag Race, I mean, everyone like me did I think." Iestyn was determined to pull himself together, and his foot might be jiggling like mad under the table, but above he hoped he looked somewhat relaxed. "I thought coming to America would be a chance to reinvent myself. I've liked cross-dressing for a long time but I kept it to myself. I mean, Addy knew because we shared a room. I used to borrow her clothes and we'd do routines into hairbrushes."

Oh God, was he talking too much now? He should eat instead of talking. He filled his mouth full of spaghetti to shut himself up.

"That's what I did too!" Michaela said, smiling warmly at Iestyn. He was so adorable and she wanted to put him at ease. "I would perform for my brother."

"He looks damn good in a skirt," Henry leaned in to kiss Iestyn's cheek.

"If you're serious about giving it a go, I could help you," Michaela offered. "Show you which dance classes you could take which will help. Take you to the amateur nights..."

	It was just as well that Iestyn had finished his mouthful as Michaela offered to take him out, because he would have choked with excitement. "I am! I mean- I want to try-" He nodded emphatically. "My friend Joey has helped me out so far, he's been great, but he's not a performer himself. I do sing live, do people do that here much? Oh my god. You are so kind." "I think Joey would understand," Addy said to Iestyn, with a grin. "I think he would actively encourage, actually."

"People do sing live, if they can!" Michaela nodded. "I do sometimes, though more often in solo shows or shows with just a few others who are also singing live. In group shows with other lip synchers, it's better to lip synch too, otherwise the audience gets confused. There are voice classes you could take too. I have contacts," she said easily.

"You would be so brilliant," Henry said, turning to his boyfriend. "I'd come cheer you on from the front row, right beside Addy."

"That's what I do," Tuck chuckled.

Iestyn looked at Henry and then at Addy, feeling a thrill of excitement. "I did a music degree, I can play piano and sing," he said, looking back to Michaela. "But it's been so long and- well I haven't been singing for a while, I could probably use the refresher. Oh my god, this is- too much!" He put his hands on his cheeks, feeling a little overwhelmed. Him, as a proper drag performer! In New York! The audacity!

Will was just taking it all in with amusement as he ate, feeling like the oldest person in the room (along with Tuck). Kids these days...

"Oh wonderful!" Michaela grinned, "they'll be thrilled to have you then. When I say voice classes, I mean classes with the people who work with Broadway actors. Even the most accomplished Broadway actors still take voice and dance lessons all the time. Keeps you at the top of your game. I go three days a week!"

Tuck just loved watching Michaela talk about her life with such passion. She clearly loved what she did, and it made him feel so warm inside.

"Have you thought of going that route?" Michaela asked, taking a bite of her dinner. "If the instructors are impressed, they will send you on auditions and put word in with their casting director friends."

	"What route?" Iestyn blinked at Michaela, his nice reeling back over what she'd said. "What, Broadway auditions? Me?" Even thinking that thought was audacious. 	Iestyn would be a fool to pass up an opportunity like that. He only hoped it wasn't too expensive. "I mean... yeah," he said, looking at Addy again, and suddenly thought, Ma would've been so excited by this. He gave her a smile, and laughed a little at Henry's enthusiasm. "Yeah, okay. Why not!" "I love makeup experiments," Michaela grinned.

"I remember discovering you drawing on makeup with magic markers when you were little," Tuck said with a laugh. "Norah made me take you to the doctor, but they were non-toxic, so all they did was compliment your artistry!"

Michaela snorted, "I don't remember that, but I absolutely believe it. If I wasn't a woman I still would have been a drag queen!"

"Destined from age nought," Tuck chuckled.

	"This food is really good, by the way," Iestyn said, suddenly remembering he was meant to be eating, and making inroads so that he could get it out of the way and down to the fun stuff. "Thanks!"
