The moment Lena had introduced Aoife to JJ, Jesse and Nicholas, Aoife had adored them. Since then, she had made it her personal mission to make a fabulous meal and deliver it, in person, to their house. Poor Nicholas deserved the good food during his recovery and now that there was a baby involved, the less meals they had to make themselves, the more time they could spend with Bastian.

Aoife noticed that during her weekly visits, she never saw Adrian. She let it go, but she did wonder if there was a reason for that. If she was the reason. Maybe he thought she was annoying. That was usually it. Lots of people thought Aoife was annoying.

This week, Aoife showed up on a Saturday, instead of her usual Sunday. She had plans she didn't want to miss, but she didn't want to cop out on cooking for the trio either. Which was why she was sitting in the kitchen with a very tired JJ, when Adrian and Isaiah walked in.

"Oh. Hi," Adrian said, freezing in his steps, staring at the redhead who was seated at his kitchen table. "You. You're here."

"Here is where I am," Aoife nodded, waving. "Hi, Adrian. Hey, Isaiah!"

	Aoife grinned at Isaiah for breaking the silence even more, and she jumped up to fix him a plate. "I made it this morning. I love cooking! It's like my escape." 	Without being asked, Aoife made up a plate for Adrian too, and carried them both to the table before accepting her coffee. Adrian, surprised at his ability to walk, took a place at the table too. He dug into the plate and smiled at Aoife. "This is really delicious." Aoife beamed at him, "aww, thanks! I try." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"It really is," Isaiah agreed, tucking into his plate and managing to eat at a normal pace. He ate about a third of his portion before sitting back slightly and sipping at as his coffee. "So Aoife, what have you been up to lately?" he asked. (Reply to this) (Parent)
