Jesse was actually looking forward to meeting Clio. Nicholas spoke very highly of her, and it sounded like she had been there for him when he needed it. So he'd piled into the car with everyone else for the drive over there, smiling slightly at the thought of her promise to ask him 'obnoxiously private questions'.

Nikkie caught sight of them from down the street as she and Joey climbed out of their own car, and ahe cupped both hands around her mouth and hailed them. "Oi! You lot, hi!" She waved, smiling cheerfully.

Joey grinned at his sister and he loped over to scoop her up into a hug. She giggled as he spun her and then he put her down to grin at her boyfriends. "Hey! How are you?"

"Doin' well," Nicholas said, kissing Joey on the forehead. They had slept together, it wasn't like they had any other boundaries. "Lovely to see you, Nikkie!"

Patrick had been watching for them out the window like a child. "THEY'RE HERE!" he called out to Clio, his voice full of excitement.

Coming from a big family, she'd actually enjoyed learning how to cook once she'd sat down to put her mind to it. After Polyboa and Hyakinthos, things had shifted so she'd wanted her family to be fed and looked after. Her more 'daughter of Zeus' side saw it as an opportunity to get gossip out of people.

She'd kicked everyone out of the kitchen to prepare for it, and Ella had watched with wide eyes. She'd made sure to remember who knew about the curtain, and who didn't. That was important too. At Patrick's comment she turned to him and smiled. "Good, go let them in love, would you?"

With that she checked on Ella to make sure she was settled before brushing her daughter's hair. "Let's go say hi to everyone?"

	"And you!" Nikkie beamed, pulling everyone into a round of hugs. "How's things with everyone, you all settling in alright?" "Pretty great," Jesse answered, as they mounted the steps up to the house. "We did have to move, but the house seems to be working out pretty well." He reached out to press the bell once before stepping back to wait. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"It's alright, Jay, I'm pretty sure they come in peace," Jesse joked quietly. To Clio, he said, "It's real nice to meet you, Nicholas says good things." "Oh goodness, how cute are you?" Nikkie cooed, reaching down to give Ella a hug. "And to answer your question, I can't say I've had the pleasure. Good to meet you, Clio." She followed this up with a smile. 	Jayden went to sit on the sofa when Clio offered, and he looked up to see if his brother would join them. He was relieved when Joey did. He liked Joey. Joey was easy to get along with. JJ wrapped her arm around Patrick's shoulders and ruffled his hair. "Heard you had a shitty week, ginger. That sucks." "It's better now," he admitted. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	She avoided the saint comment, not because she wouldn't want to hear but because some people didn't know. IT was always tricky to navigate. "I'll keep it easy, but I'd like to know how you met Nicholas here? And how you started dating." "And you're free to say no comment. Ella's too young to date so I ask questions to everyone else.
