While Rose kept up with day to day activities, she didn't always have the time to keep her own journal updated. She had a wedding to plan, and her job often kept her busy. She did know one of Victor's friends was in the hospital, and send as many comforting messages to her brother in law as she could. She'd informed him to come by for some food and if needed to get some things off his chest. Plus she wanted to catch up with him.

She'd made one of his favorites and smiled as the door rang, hugging Victor once the door was open. She drew back and frowned, "you look terrible. Here come inside food's just about done. How bad is this?"

	"Oh god, yes please, coffee," he moaned. "I have to drink it now in case Kat asks me to give it up in solidarity." He smiled at Rose and said, "and of course I know you're here. 	Chuckling she rose and went to get him some coffee. "You're sweet for at least considering giving it up." She nodded as she listened. "That's the side effect of caring. All I can offer is try not to focus on the what ifs. Keep it for the moment. Look at the bright sides. You're engaged and going to be a dad. Embrace the happiness." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"And there's much happiness to embrace, even if I have to go without caffeine for a little while. She's carrying my child, I hardly think it's fair to just force her to go through all the things that come with it by herself while I drink mochaccinos in front of her face."

He fell quiet for a moment then and he sighed. "I can't help but worry for her safety all the time though. Sarah...she was pregnant when she died." He knew Rose had known that, but he felt he needed to explain his random fear. "And I don't want to lose someone else that way."

	She grinned, "you're adorable but there are a few things only for her. But I'm sure she appreciates you showing the effort." She listened and returned with the coffee. "Hey no rainclouds. It'll be fine. I've met Kat. She's bright and wonderful. She'll make sure to keep your fears under check. You can't spend these months worrying. How far along is she?" 	He wrapped his hands around the coffee and started drinking immediately, even though it was hot. He liked it that way. "She is all of those things, I'm just a worrywart.
