When the darkness had hit, Envy had just sighed, turned on her lights, and called it a wasted weekend. She had no desire to vie for the Hell-Kings favor. She didn't think she needed it. She did her job, and did it well, and as far as she cared, needed to do nothing else.

When the lights flickered back on, she'd called her agent and ensured him she was up to the task for modeling again. She'd carved a nice corner out for herself, enough where people recognized her occasionally, and she wanted to keep that. Most of the season would come back around spring, but she could do shoots in between those lulls. And looking good for the camera was one of the easiest things to do.

She'd then taken her keys and gone out. She hadn't gotten to do any shopping, and she did her best work within a store. This day she chose one that was aimed for lower budgets, and breathed the air of humans with a smile. Envy considered herself the slow poison. Not for her, the big displays her siblings did. Not for her, just picking one mortal and latching on until it bled out. No, she liked large crowds. Let her siblings have just one. She wanted the world.

Even when she walked she felt the looks of envy some gave her. More then one female desired a body like the one she'd crafted. And with a smile to a male, she'd caused jealousy even before she'd walked away.

Humans were really so ridiculously easy.

She browsed through the racks, not entirely here to buy anything, just to enjoy the feel of her emotion and herself floating around. She did have to spend two whole days without it after all.

	Marie changed as well, frowning at the fabric. She looked good, sure, but she would look good in a garbage bag. She stepped out of the change room and sighed. "Beyond me too," she said with a frown. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	She brushed her hands down the fabric and turned into the mirror before smiling at her companion. "At least we make this look good." She could feel the envy around her, the women who had heard their conversation and felt jealous on how they pulled of the look. It was a lovely thing to feel. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	She had to admit, for a former mortal Marie was pretty good at this. Then again, the woman had gotten a country to hate her, so. "Still sad though. Not having any actual style. Truly a shame." 	With a grin, Marie pulled her camera out. "Pose for me!" she said with a laugh, as if she had to tell a model what to do. She snapped several pictures and then laughed. Envy was fun! (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Laughing she posed for Marie and blew a kiss to the camera before changing again, and repeating the process. Envy didn't really much care for silly mortals, but so far Marie was making her job a bit easier and allowing her to have a bit of fun. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

In the meantime she'd had plenty of women either glaring at her, or hiding their jealousy behind catty comments made behind closed doors. She couldn't even be bothered to care. They were pointless, really. "No, thank you. I haven't had this much fun doing my job in a long time."

Once back in her clothes she handed Marie her number. "give me a call. I usually don't mingle with mortals, but you're alright."

	Her own clothes felt like Heaven after such cheap imitations of clothing. Grinning, Marie accepted Envy's number and scribbled her own to hand over. "Thank you!" She took that as a compliment as it was intended. "I would love to have a drink some time. I was great to meet you!" (Reply to this) (Parent)
