Who: Emma Franklin and the Red Baron
What: Awkward talking of immortal things.
When: Tuesday afternoon
Where: Conrad's place
Warnings: tbd
Emma hadn't seen much of her father since the fiasco of a man who she thought was completely insane for trying to tell her he was her father, when he didn't even look like Conrad. There was also the little fact of him claiming to be the Red Baron.
Which turned out to be true
Which was still freaking her the hell out.
Everywhere she went she couldn't stop thinking about immortals. She started to believe every single person in the city was a god or some reincarnation of a famous figure. It was really starting to stress her out to the point of illness. She had started to feel the beginnings of a cold, which could have been correlated with school starting. But it was most likely due to everything that had happened to her over the last few months.
Once she had even thought of asking her mom if her dad had ever said he was the Red Baron, but when she called all she did was fumble over her words and talk about something entirely different. If she started bringing it up to her mom she'd probably think Emma was crazy. It had been driving her crazy and it had been Natalie and her friend who had convinced her. Now she just needed to have that awkward chat with her father about being immortal (and apparently he changed faces!), which meant she was partially immortal.
She knocked on Conrad's door, fidgeting with her fingers as she waited. This might not top the awkward I'm your daughter conversation, but it sure would come close.
