"She sleeps pretty well," Nana said, turning her gaze lovingly on the sleeping child. "Today she was fussy, but she's usually okay. She is sensitive to light, though, because of her condition, so sometimes she won't sleep unless it's completely dark." It wasn't too difficult, but Nana wished she could bring her outside sometimes. As if she could tell they were talking about her, Rose stirred a little in her sleep, but settled again easily, letting out a tiny sigh.
Nana leaned forward and took her own tea cup, taking a sip of the hot drink before leaning back against the chair again. "I hope that what I can tell you will be of use to you," she said, looking down at the bottom of the cup. She had always been nervous and shy, but the past few months had pushed her ahead. She wasn't the same Nana that had first been seeing John, the Nana that had been paired with Andrew... So much had changed in her life since then, she felt like a different person. And she was more than willing to talk about it if it would help.
