Thursday, July 9, 2009 Who: Georgina Lincoln, Miranda Reeves What: An interview When: Thursday, 4.00pm Where: Miranda's Office Rating: PG Status: Ongoing
Miranda had finished the "official" workday around noon, and had spent the afternoon down in the labs, tinkering, which always put her in a good mood. She didn't do it often enough any more, too caught up in meetings and paperwork, but a few hours spent with whiteboards full of beautiful math equations, of working with electronic bits and pieces, making things from nothing always helped. She had a feeling that a good mood would be required to get through the interview.
But maybe not. She'd read through Ms. Lincoln's works and the woman seemed to have a rigorously fair outlook and a sharp, snappy writing style that worked well together; compulsively readable and thought-provoking. It might be interesting.
At ten till four, Miranda breezed into her office, ignoring Stephen's pointed look at his watch. She kicked off her flats and put on her Louboutins--how she loved them, works of art for the feet--and quickly paged through her laptop, reading through reports that had come up while she'd been downstairs enjoying herself.
