My mother can only delay him so much. I mean, it's not like she can tell him I've suffered a mental break down after being thrust into a secret war in a world wide hidden community. Heck, I don't even think she believes it sometimes.

I'm sure she does, Justin. Of course she does.

Have you had anymore thoughts about what comes next?

Well some of it at least.

Not really. I've joined, to some degree, the muggleborn player's movement. But I'm not really sure about my place there. It's not like I play quidditch.

I talked to Jason King about that after the match.

Do you like it? The movement - not Quidditch.

Thoughts?

Yes. They know what it's like. Not that you and all of you weren't great, but it's different with them.

Well. It was a little tricky - my fault really for getting him in the locker room. Was a bit difficult to get all of it. But it seems interesting.

You could make a career of that, you know.

Do you have questions. I promise to only mildly judge you.

What? Having too much money and listening to other talk so I don't look like a fool?

Oh. Er... yes. Some. Does the pink mean something particular for Muggleborns? Does it have an historical precedence?

Justin, no one could ever listen to you talk and think you a fool. I think you should organize them. You know - it's all Quidditch players right now and they've got regular jobs. You could give them some structure.

No, it's just something violently muggleborn. It's not an easy color to ignore. I really don't think it came into being until the 1950s anyway. Maybe later.

They're not going to listen to some nineteen year old kid who also doesn't have a regular job. They're organised, mostly. I bring the pens.

That is entirely stupid and if they have made you feel as if your experience and your perspective isn't as good as theirs, then they are a shite movement. Flat out.

Stop. I'm just being realistic here. We might be war heroes, a stupid term by the way, but in the end of the day what do we rally know?

The guys, especially the older ones like Jason King, Aidan Lynch, and Gregor McGregor know what they're talking about and know how to speak to the press. I'm not sure I always agree with them, but for now I know when to shut up and listen. When I have something worth saying I'll say it.

How will you know when you have something worth saying to the public if you can't say it to the people who supposedly share your experience?

I'm not saying become spokesperson and CEO, Justin - although I think you could - I'm just saying that you have more to give than fetching fucking pens.

I will know. There's nothing wrong with being cautious about these things.

If I have learned anything in the last couple of years, it's that adults don't have a monopoly on good ideas or sense. Especially if you disagree with them Justin... I don't know.

I don't know. It's surely a different thing than the DA.

And in the meantime, I'll be fetching those fucking pens and figuring out what to say so I may ensure that I have the biggest splash when I actually do raise my voice.

One thing I've learned from my parents, the more money you have, the bigger splash you can make.

One thing I learned from my parents: the more money you have, the more you think you have to lose.

They do.

I'm sorry - I know you've got your reasons. I just don't like the thought of you being shut out of the conversation.
