Monte was pretty disappointed in his own performance, and the resulting tie, but brightened considerably when he saw Justin after the game. (He stopped for long enough to make a statement or two to the press, and to check up on Gubby.) He couldn't help his grin at Justin's jersey, especially at the color. He suggested that the lot of them go out for a pint afterward.

Justin wasn't sure if this was a date (it was the lot of them after all), but he went along with it.
