It started as a playful thing, wherein Kal charmed Lex's bat to say "JUST MARRIED", because that's the sort of thing one's fellow Beater should do when a witch gets married. Idle chatter between the two had revealed that the impromptu nature of the wedding meant that none of the usual celebrations had happened beforehand. Kal, being young and still somewhat naive, thought that this was one of the greatest travesties of recent time, and told Lex that she should really celebrate with her girlfriends anyway, even if it was a bit backwards. In fact, there was this club in Muggle London where Kal had gone with her sister once that hadn't been too bad, even for Kal, who doesn't necessarily love such things....

She really had no idea that suggesting it would somehow turn into planning it. Word of mouth is a strange thing. All it took was one person mentioning it in company, and then suddenly people were passing her at practice, telling her what a good idea it was and to let them know when she'd picked a date. Someone else owled wanting to know the name of the club.

And it just grew from there. Not that Kal minds precisely, but she's rather out of her element here.

	How did you find out about it? Maybe you found out but chose not to go. Maybe you gave Kal a heads up, and maybe you didn't. Maybe you're not technically invited (cough boys cough) but decide to show up and have a little fun anyway. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Anais is a good friend of Lex's, so you bet she wangled an invite as soon as she heard about it. Hey, her own damn birthday didn't get a party so she isn't missing an excuse to celebrate her friend's wedding! (Reply to this) (Parent)

Angus hears about this and figures that since they're doing this whole thing backwards anyway and none of them were invited to the wedding, all the usual rules are out the window and that includes the guest list. So he 100% organizes a men's brigade to crash the party and badgers/cajoles/bribes all the Magpie men into being "hen men". Come on, guys!

(This definitely includes Micah. What, like they're going to leave the groom sitting at home alone?)

	Anais arrived RIGHT ON TIME because she isn't missing a second. She's difficult to miss, too, given that she's wearing a fitted dress and heels... and she's 6'1 in bare feet with long red hair, so she stands out. And probably ignores the looks of the Muggle attendees of the club. 100% makes a bee line straight for Lex and glomps her, hard. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	+1, same here! Angus is happy to contribute to the general tipsiness by buying the next round as the price of admission. :P He may be slightly unrecognizable to those who didn't know him before Azkaban, as he has trimmed his beard to almost nothing and cut his hair a bit so you can actually see his adorable face.
