Having read the comments above, I'm in agreement. What you did was 100% within your remit. Your job isn't to make your sister happy, it's to handle public relations in the way that is best for the team. It's good seeing you do your job, even if it means conflict with your sister.

Lex needs to be aware that while we want her to be happy on a personal level, we also don't want to do anything to hurt the team. If I did everything that made me feel happy, half the Commissioners in the BIQL would be transformed into giant land crabs on a bi-weekly basis.

She needs to go the Anne Boleyn route. Anything she doesn't want to hear, she needs to pretend didn't get said. McTwistyknickers doesn't exist, or if he does, she refers the matter to you, and you say the bland thing.

And yeah, I know, and I've been on both sides of that button pushing with Jupes. In the end, you've got to do what your job is, and if it takes telling her to sit down and not make a fuss when she doesn't need to, then that's that. So what if someone doesn't like what she does? Why pick a public fight and make a spectacle of it? We're not Portree.
