[Montrose+]

The Neep is behind us and what a start, team! I'm still in a good mood over it.

We're going into the very last bloc of the regular season here and I'd like us to end it strong to go into the playoffs on a good note. But before I give you the rosters or traditional strategy talks, there's some things to get in order first.

- Chasers, again, brilliant work against McCormack. If you can handle her like that every time then we're in excellent shape going forward. Falcons are a rough team though so I'm letting Lex loose on you lot to prepare you for dealing with that

- Lex, I want them able to play the match. Other than that...

- Micah and Ada, see Florrie for being cleared to play the Falcons

- Lennox and Kenna, we're doing some extra seeker training leading into playoffs. Other teams will be trying to take Portree's cue and shut you down, so let's prepare for that.

- Actually, anyone who's been listed as injured at all in the last 2 blocs, go see Florrie.

- And maybe even if you're not

If you still have the details for that cursebreaker, get another clearing for the match if you can. We can afford to wait through this bloc, I'd rather take this too seriously than too lightly.

Unfortunate streaks happen, only thing to be done is to come out strong when they think you're down.

How's the new broom treating you?

Mmm.

Time will tell if I want it for the long run, I suppose. I'm not fully happy with it yet, but we needed the best of the bunch in the given time frame.

If you want to switch, you still can. We've got until the quarterfinals to figure out a broom that's best for you or get more used to this one. Then in the offseason we'll figure something out.

Unless there's big changes in the standings in this bloc (and you never know with quidditch), we might have the Wasps up first. Not the strongest of seekers so will be a good match to come back with the new broom on.

You're still great, lad. Don't let a few matches get you down.

I'm not changing it before season's end now. I don't want to be going through playoffs trying to get used to yet another broom - may as well hold on until June and figure things out anew from there.

Good, time to get used to the one then and make your grand playoff appearance with a more familiar broom.

Help Kenna out for this next match, will you? Unless you take a big hit in the playoffs, she won't be seeing flying time then so this will be her big end to her first season. I'd like her to leave it on a confident note.

I'm thinking of taking it out for some casual flying, get some work in on the more subtle controls we need when patrolling the pitch.

What did you have in mind, sir?

If you don't see the inside of the med tent for the rest of the season, I'll be very happy, Maddock!

Flying away without a big injury is always a plus, moreso when it comes with the first win in the Neep series. Plenty to be happy about there.

I think it was a solid 3/7 players with other attempts. They would have been better off focusing on winning.

Ah that's the attitude! No seeker interference is going to stop us and I'm sure you and Lennox will be facing plenty of it in this final stretch. Teams especially like to throw it at new seekers to see how they handle.

What you have over anyone at Falmouth is the skill to make things difficult, they have the brute strategy. You let loose is worse than any Falmouth beaters.

If she clears you, you're up. Falmouth will be a rough match and a challenge but a good chance to prove to the league that the Wigtown match was a fluke. Still the top reserve there is.
