IC/OOC: Unconventional training session
Who: Pride players (Ellie assumes Tor is invited, and last minute invites Cav)
Where: MacFusty Dragon Reserve
What: Agility drills with dragons. Lots of dodging unexpected things. Bonfire and social at the end of the night.
When: Sunday, 1 October noon and onward

The team had been instructed to arrive at the Reserve between noon and 12:30. Ellie and her sister Davina will be there to great them and direct them to where they are meeting. Their meeting location is actually the starting line for Winter Solstice Broom Race (that goes from the Reserve to Montrose -- more thoughts on this later), so there is place to set up. Also it is a reasonable area for people to be flying brooms through with managed risk.

As people are arriving, other members of the MacFusty clan are about keen to give people tours. Ellie will very happily direct people to where the young dragons nest.

At 12:30 there will be a brief team meeting going over the goals for the day before everyone takes to their brooms. Of note, neither of the seekers are present. If prompted Ellie will say they have been excused ahead of an intensive seeker training tomorrow.

At 1pm, people will take to their brooms for an afternoon of weird training drills. More about these drills below. Also please feel free to add your own.

	Scrimmy got there early and hell yes she visited baby dragons! They are the perfect combo of cute and tiny but potentially fierce and dangerous (you see why she likes them). If Scrimmy got there early and was excited to visit the baby dragons, Ellie would have 100% personally brought her to visit her favorites. Because of course she has favorites. She might have even shared the story of Ellie at age six, certain she was a dragon, picked one family of hatchlings to claim as her real siblings. She would sleep out near their nest, run around with them during the day. It inevitably ended in tears when there were too many misses and she got hurt and her parents explained to her the horrible truth of not actually being a dragon.

	I think to some extent, Ellie sees a lot of herself in Scrimmy. So quite obviously some sort of kinship there. I don't think Ellie would ever outright say it, but how she acts and works with Scrimmy would certainly be part of that. Okay, I lied, she may 100% try to claim that Scrimmy is totally named after her, at least with the middle name bit. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Alasdair arrived promptly (because that's how he rolls) and as more people arrive and the Seekers are noticeably absent, you bet he's one to ask the question!

He was interested in the dragons, though, and whichever MacFusty took him to look at them would see his enjoyment of the experience even if he wasn't bouncing on his feet like other people may have been. Let's be honest, he probably cooed at the babies in the way he does his cats.

	Joy never moves very fast on Sunday mornings, but she's also committed to not disappointing Ellie, which all translates to her showing up at 12:25 with dark sunglasses and a very large takeaway cup of coffee. Meaghan got there around noon and THANK YOU for not doing this crap in the morning she says. She is READY TO GO. Whichever MacFusty she saw first, she was looking for Lorna since she doesn't get to see her much anymore and she was BRILLIANT.

She's not really big into most animals, or at least she says not, but she's down with seeing the dragon, though she might have to be reminded not to tickle any of them.

	Luag would've been there hella early because duh. XD Have to visit the fam before actually getting down to business and all that. 	Torquil arrived earlier (with Luag) and greeted all the MacFustys. It's not his first (or fifth) time at the reserve so he seems pretty comfortable there. He definitely visits the little dragons, but keeps a safe distance away. (Reply to this) (Parent)
