Where: Portree Practice Pitch and offices.
Warnings:

Graham had an agenda prepared for Bart. It was going to be a busy day. The morning was going to be spent with management and the afternoon with the team. Lorna had the morning drills covered, possibly following Ellie's notes. She'd have no trouble keeping the players busy. At least it wasn't one of the days the charity practice, where half the team, including Lorna, were off with McGonagall.

10:00 Management meeting

11:00 PR (Gwen/Bart)(discuss any interviews he’ll do).

12:30 Team Leadership meeting (captain/field coaches).

13:00 Team Meeting.

13:30-16:00: Afternoon practice and one-on-ones.

18:00 Dinner with Bas and Graham

	Scrimmy is still :\| about all this but when she sees who it is, old coach, well...okay that's not as bad as most other options. But still she'd really love Coach back. She's pretty quiet for Scrimmy, and mostly just snacks and eats her lunch and lets everyone else do the talking. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Alasdair sits himself between the Chasers and the reserves - partially to be there as a steadying figure for the newer players to the side, and partially to keep an eye on Scrimmy (he’s worried about her change in mood), looking out for her and Joy at the same time. It’s probably evident that while he and the Chasers are close, they’re not a clique, and neither is there a clique between the more senior members of the team.

He eats like he’s thinking - carefully, without rushing, and occasionally pauses to talk to whoever is on his immediate side in either direction.

	Since they've already met and squared up, Bart doesn't spend a lot of time with Alasdair at lunch but he's definitely aware of the positioning and the leadership it shows. (Reply to this) (Parent)

If Ainsley is asked why she brought in so many extra cornish pasties in with her that day, she'd beg off saying that she'd forgotten that she'd already brought in a sandwich the day before and had just forgotten about it, and that she'd already eaten anyway and was saving her appetite for dinner tonight.

In reality, she was a bit too nervous to eat, but she played it really cool, and kept the picking at the small bandage on her index finger to a minimum. Of course, she offered the pasties around to anyone that might want one.

	Of course he knows her from her time at Wigtown but it's different after the year off. Bart is pleased to meet her and have her on the team, and is looking forward to seeing her strut her stuff this afternoon. 	There's definitely one with his name on it! While Ainsley is concerned for Ellie, it's a pretty amazing coup that they were able to have Bart coming in to help the team out. She'll try not to disappoint, but can't work out if it would be a better idea to go before or after Meaghan. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	More meetings. Lorna would still bring her confidence in this decision to the team meeting. She knows that Bart isn't replacing Ellie, just helping. He's coming out of retirement. Lorna came out of retirement. That helped right? (She won't be here forever) (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Meaghan was upset when Old Coach left but she doesn't seem any happier about having him back. She meets his eyes once at the beginning of the meeting, then avoids them as much as possible for the rest of it, her face set. She's quiet for the most part. If addressed, she'll call him sir, not Coach. (Reply to this) (Parent)

Joy is a pretty quiet and watchful version of herself. She feels a little like she leapt into Scotland assuming everything was stable and sorted and it's all been slowly crumbling around her. She's been trying to keep her head down and herself stable, but she's wondering if maybe she should have been doing more active steadying. She's not used to wondering that.

So she's attentive, engaged, but she's also trying to get a read on just what's going on, on her role in it, on who she even is, but she's also trying to keep her existential crisis professional rather than personal.

Food helps. Is there food? Are we sending out for pizza?
