The Carolgram arrives. Desmond notes the name. Technically, the name was the point of contention, so he opens it and the song plays in its entirety. His face is stony.

The song ends. He sets the Carolgram on fire and pushes it into the rubbish bin, where it smolders next to the remains of the mistletoe that was briefly hanging in his doorway.

Then he gets back to work. And glares at everyone he sees for the rest of the day. The name may have been the actual point of contention, but whoever did that was still purposely trying to annoy him.
