[Cav]

So our intern showed me some item from Circe this morning that suggests I was crying on Merc's shoulder about something you may or may not have even done. Just to let you know, we were having a discussion about something else besides you and I'm not upset if you're dating other girls.

I'll be watching the Solstice Sprint today and going to the Macmillan-Montrose party afterwards; I don't know if broom racing is your cuppa but you're welcome to join me for the starting ceremonies, which are 2 PM in Portree, and the finish should be 9:30 or 10:00 in Montrose. If you're not going to the race, perhaps I'll see you at the Macmillans' afterwards.

I promise I will. But I don't expect you to.

I'm sure you can; just didn't want it to be a surprise if everyone showed up to well-wish Jason!

I'm certainly not going to do anything intentionally.

I appreciate the heads up.

We can go over to the party afterwards then?

Bring your things and we'll change at the clinic and walk up together. I've already taken my dress and shoes and things up so I can get dressed after the race and not be too late.

I'll pack a bag then.

What colour dress are you wearing?

White.

Unhelpful.

I probably should know this by now, but what's your favorite colour?

Oh, no reason you would; the job puts me in a lot of black and white and the last one put me in Mungo's robes all the time. I like deep royal blue on my off days, though.

So a good solid Ravenclaw blue then? Heh.

Close enough. I'm still all in for Gryffindor quidditch, though. Have to be given the number of nieces and cousins that I'll have flying for it in the next few years.

I think it's sometimes hard to shake the house colours, though I've always preferred the silver to the green.

I think you'd look quite handsome in silver, but the green would suit you too.

I have a grey suit I can wear.

And I'd like to bring you a ribbon. For your hair.
