A legion of Portree-adjacent women hit the Sibling Spook concert at Felicis, Edinburgh's trendiest club, last weekend. The party was wild and the dancing was hot, especially for Peggy Urquhart, who snogged Spook bassist Angelo Ricci. But the hottest item was Portree's very married Lorna MacFarlane snogging a blonde bird in the middle of the dance floor! Vanishing too early to see them were Ainsley Galbraith and possible new beau Fraser Macmillan.
Nearby shop My Shawarma was the scene of a brawl between Portree's Sara Scrimgeour and some random blokes who picked on the miniature Chaser. She laid out one of them with a one-two punch combo that started with a wandbreaker and ended with a glass jaw shattering. Wonder who won't be welcome for hummus and pita there again?
The opening of Abercrombie and King, the Montrose-connected custom broom shop, was quite the social scene. In addition to the big Quidditch celebrities, war heroes Justin Finch-Fletchley and Ernie Macmillan were on the scene, and Finch-Fletchley was awfully friendly with Monte Cameron, currently of the Falmouth Falcons.
Lennox Campbell of the Magpies was present at A&K in support of his teammate. According to witnesses, Charlotte Brand of Seeker Weekly was very interested in his broom.
Also seen at A&K: a private tete-a-tete between Montrose Coach M.G. McGonagall and his sister Florinda. She looked quite distraught, leaving us wondering if current beau and heartbreaker Sebastian Cavallero has dropped her in favour of one of his other lady loves.
