Got through an entire puzzle book waiting in various lines to purchase presents at Hogsmeade today but it's DONE!

Feel free to be entirely jealous.

I have 17 letters since your missive was printed and 4 of them were howlers. I haven't read the non-howler letters (since they are yours), but obviously can't say the same for the Howlers.

Interestingly, 3 of them were all about the use of the color pink and how that has ruined it for their girl children to have such a beloved color so 'politically charged', that they are afraid that their children will be accosted in the streets for a viewpoint they can't possible understand, etc.

The last one was what I can only summarise as a very angry math lesson in population dynamics. Muggleborn wizards do not make up a majority and the writer demands you show your work in making such a claim.

Hopefully the other 13 are more supportive. I can bring them over if you like?

It worked for King Arthur

Do I look like King Arthur? Can't I aspire to be Merlin instead?

You don't look like either, if I'm honest Justin.

Do we know what either of them actually look like? Who knows, one of them could have been Anglo-Korean.

Anyway, what does a spokesperson for a movement even look like? Are we a movement? More like a coalition of people with loose set of defined goals.

Maybe Moorish before Korean?

Well, I'll say this: Neville was never the spokesperson of anything in the DA. What he did though was remind us of what we were fighting for when we got too deep into the weeds.

Basically imagine me about 10 times worse than exam time. That was all of us after awhile.

That's a possibility. I like the idea of Merlin being a Moor. Makes me wonder why we don't learn about non-Western magical traditions in Hogwarts. It could be an interesting elective.

I'm not going to compare 'who had it worse' during the War, because it was awful for all involved. Except maybe for Hamish MacFarlan. Because fuck him and his throne of 'let Quidditch be politic free.' It stopped being free the moment they stopped letting Muggleborn players, and their supporters, play.

Confusion? I don't know.

I don't mention it to compare, but rather to say that everyone needs to be a spokesperson -- they all have to have the same message. And that's what you lot are missing.

Did you see Alistair Maddock's response?

I still maintain Muggle Studies, a relevant Muggle Studies curriculum, should be mandatory. As should a course based on non-Western magics. Because isolationism doesn't work for anyone.

Getting everyone to have the same message is going to be like herding cats.

I did. That's a step in the right direction.

Why take Muggle Studies when you can just escape to your mates house during the summer and make his parents take him to airports and unwire their toaster?

Yes. Yes it is. And I think you should tell them all that they are acting more like cats than sensible humans.

That toaster has never worked right since.

I might just start sending them cat toys instead.

It must work ok enough that you kept it.

Smooth.

Or we just don't eat that much toast.

I rather thought so.

Bacon.

Did you know wine came in boxes?

But why would you drink wine from a box?

Straight from the box?

Like a milk carton?

I don't know if it's a milk carton, but Kenna McLeod was talking about wine from a box.

I don't know. My mother doesn't shop where there is boxed wine.
