Well, they finally let me out of Mungo's yesterday. Unfortunately, I'm still not allowed on a broom and they won't say when that might happen.

What do you do when you can't fly? I'm going mental and it hasn't even been a week.

I’ll be fine as soon as I can get back on a broom.

They probably want to check how their treatment has worked once you're out of hospital and doing lighter fitness work. Means you won't have setbacks once you're back on a broom that keep you out linger.

Lex, all I'm saying is remember who you're talking to here. There is literally no point in worrying yourself sick over it, because even if it IS bad news - and you know full well that your team and management will fight all the way to ensure that is not the case - all that means is more time to feel fucking miserable over everything.

Take it one step at a time, one day at a time - and what comes, comes.

I know, and I shouldn't even complain.. I just..

Last night hleped, in a way.. just letting loose...

there's just been a lot this season that has made me wonder if this is my last season - or at least my last season with the BIL - and you dare breathe a word of that to anyone. And this... well, it seems like another nail in the coffin, regardless of what the verdict is. I'm no spring chicken ..

I've never been good at accepting what comes.

The very nature of sport is that you have to accept things that are out of your control, certainly in team sports. Dangerous ones.

And when there are players pushing 40 in your league, don't dare call yourself no spring chicken. You've had a chance to become a veteran that not everyone gets to have.

I know I've been damn lucky.

And you are being entirely too logical.

I just need.. to get out of my head a bit I think.

When emotions are raging, clinging to logic and hard fact is all that gets one through.

It's the opposit for me.. logic and facts make even less sense when I'm lost in my head

What I'm saying is they are what get people OUT of the fog. You just have to keep fighting rather than let the fugue take you.
