Who? Lavender and Hermione
Where? St. Mungo's gift shop
When? Wednesday afternoon
What? Lavender gets a delivery

Lavender was sitting behind the counter in the shop on a stool that she'd conjured up. She pursed her lips, tapping her quill against her cheek as she checked the numbers. Business was good, or so it appeared on paper - so why was it so slow? she sighed, glancing over at a few customers that were stocking up on balloons and teddy bears.

Just then, an owl flew in carrying a white box. She had a bewildered expression when she realized it was for her. "Thanks," she murmured, pulling the box open. She gasped at the sight of the beautiful bouquet of flowers inside the box. There was a card too... and that just melted her heart.

Lavender was so engrossed in the card and the smell of the flowers that she didn't notice someone approach the counter....

	When Hermione put it that way, it was pretty sweet on Kevin's part. "Yeah, well if I was being hounded by reported all the time, I would want to keep some part of my life private," she pointed out. "I like him though," she smiled, "a lot," she grinned now. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Hermione wondered why that was so terrifying. She was still grinning softly, watching Lavender react to her questions. Hermione loved watching people and learning about them. 	She nodded in agreement, then handed Hermione her change. This was usually when things got a little awkward - she liked talking to Hermione, they were different people then they had been in school, but they didn't really socialize. 	"I hope so." Hermione grinned. "It wasn't my idea, but I took it and ran with it. I hope no one minds." She picked up the drink and the chocolate bar. "Talk to you soon, Lavender." She gave a little wave, then headed out of the shop. (Reply to this) (Parent)
