It was spontaneous, not like him at all. To so randomly invite a girl over. Not any girl either: it was Cho. There was something about her that he was attracted to, though, as irritating as she was.

He sat on his sofa, waiting for the knock on the door. One of the fresh batteries that she sent him was twirling in his fingers.

Adrian barked with laughter as Napoleon randomly popped into a scene.

"What?" He furrowed his brows impatiently. He thought the episode was hilarious. "You just don't know good television. Here. You pick something," he shoved the remote at her.

He laughed? Cho didn't know Adrian had the ability to laugh. He looked much better when he wasn't glaring. Cho shook her head. "No, you keep it. I'm just getting use to this."

Cho gently pushed the remote back towards Adrian.

Almost...shocked, he turned back to the television, shaking his head. Tilting his head slightly, he flipped the channels before landing on a cooking show.

"What about this? Cooking's entertaining. Especially without wands. Look at them!"

Frowning a little, Cho looked over at Adrian. "Do you watch this for any other reason than to make fun of Muggles? Is that really what you consider entertainment?" Cho didn't see what was funny at all about that. And, really, if that's all Adrian planned on doing she was going to leave.

"Yes. What's wrong with that?" He returned her frown with one of his own. No, he didn't hate Muggles, but he did find their ways interesting. So he laughed at it once in a while. What wasn't entertaining about them?

"It's insulting. And rude. And a little sad." Cho did not enjoy seeing people laughed at. She was sensitive to that sort of thing. "Just because you don't understand their way of life doesn't mean you have the right to laugh at them."

Cho reached for the remote. She'd already had enough of television for the evening.

Surprisingly, Adrian didn't reprimand her for such a bold move. He simply turned to face her and quirked a brow.

Wrapping her fingers around the remote, Cho took the remote from Adrian and muted the telly.

"Does that look work on people?" Cho reached up and poked his quirked eyebrow.

Adrian's head jerked away at her poke. "You tell me," he replied. "One of my cadavers taught it to me."

"I know it doesn't work on me. I'm assuming there are other people it might work on." Cho smiled then, teeth and all. She found Adrian incredibly amusing at times. When he wasn't frustrating her to no end.

"Anyway, there's no point in trying to scare me or intimidate me. It's not going to work."

"Who says I'm trying to intimidate you? It might be something else entirely different." Adrian flashed his teeth at her, smiling doggedly.

"Oh? And what might that be? Because right now you look like the big bad wolf and I'm really not in the mood to be your Red Riding Hood." Cho grinned back at him, having forgotten about the television all together. Adrian was much easier to be around when he wasn't being such an arse.

"What are you in a mood for, then?" As irritating as she was, he couldn't help but find her incredibly attractive, especially as she was able to stand up to him.

"Oh no. It was your idea to invite me over," she said with a smirk. "It's terribly rude to ask your guests to come up with the entertainment, Adrian. Not that I'm surprised given how incredibly rude you ususally are."
