It was spontaneous, not like him at all. To so randomly invite a girl over. Not any girl either: it was Cho. There was something about her that he was attracted to, though, as irritating as she was.

He sat on his sofa, waiting for the knock on the door. One of the fresh batteries that she sent him was twirling in his fingers.

As requested, Cho had put on something nice. Maybe a soft jumper and skirt would distract Adrian from her red rimmed eyes. Cho ran a brush through her hair until it shone and apparated near Adrian's flat. Heeled boots clicking on the sidewalk, she hurried to his door. It was freezing! Cho ran into the building. She unwound a scarf from her neck while knocking on the door.

"Adrian! Let me in, I'm cold."

"You're welcome. Merlin forbid you kick someone else out of your flat for something as simple as batteries." Cho tucked her gloves into the pocket of her coat before turning around to give Adrian a small smile.

He was a strange bloke and incredibly annoying. She wasn't really sure why she had agreed to come by. The odds of them arguing at some point were incredibly high. She hoped she didn't break down and start crying. Taking a moment to really look at him, Cho realised that Adrian was attractive. She hadn't really noticed that before.

Stepping into the living room, Cho sat down on the sofa and smoothed out her skirt. "I don't watch much television. What sort of things are on it?"

	He sat next beside her on the sofa, turning the television on with the remote. "A lot of things. Everything. Cooking shows, news reports, loud rock music, and the dramatic lives of Muggles," he flipped to a channel that was playing Monty Python. "This is my favorite. Muggles can be so stupid." He snorted. 	"I think I enjoy books more than I'm going to enjoy the television," she said and watched the screen for a moment. It didn't seem to make much sense to her. 	Frowning a little, Cho looked over at Adrian. "Do you watch this for any other reason than to make fun of Muggles? Is that really what you consider entertainment?" 	"It's insulting. And rude. And a little sad." Cho did not enjoy seeing people laughed at. She was sensitive to that sort of thing. "Just because you don't understand their way of life doesn't mean you have the right to laugh at them." Cho reached for the remote. She'd already had enough of television for the evening.
