Who: Lisa and Roger What: Lisa is upset Where: Roger's flat When: After her fight with Marcus Rated: who knows
Lisa appeared on Roger's doorstep with a pop. She wiped at her nose quickly and knocked. She had a key, but she was too frazzled and upset to use it. Besides, she didn't bring it with her. She didn't bring anything, save a coat and some tissues. She didn't want to get Roger all wet or use up all of his Kleenex.
The fight with Marcus couldn't have gone much worse. He'd packed a bag and left her flat after making rude comments about her relationship with Roger, her intentions and her weight. Her words hadn't been any nicer. She already regretted most of what she said. Still, she did have a point about something. Their friendship couldn't have been that great if it was that easy to ruin. That was the part that hurt the most.
And so, she was crying. Bawling her eyes out, actually, and needed her boyfriend to console her. She hadn't even completely read the return owl or she might not have come over. The last thing she needed was for Brighton to see her upset. It just didn't do to appear vulnerable around someone you wanted to be an authority for. She wiped her nose again and tried her best to smile as the door opened.
