Who: Kevin and Lavender
What: Kevin buys Lavender a cheer up present
Where: Their flat
When: Wednesday before work.

He left it on his pillow in the morning and got up extra early. Kevin went downstairs, walked the dog, and started to make breakfast in his pajamas and flip flops.

He hummed as he scrambled eggs and the sound of his own voice masked her footsteps on the stairs when she got up.

	Lavender shrugged. "I should go in this afternoon and do some paperwork. The registered is covered all day, but I have end-of-the-month paperwork to file," she told him, going into the refrigerator for some orange juice. 	"Yeah? Anything complete?" she smiled, because she'd been bugging him about hearing something since before she'd moved in. Lavender dug into her eggs, nodding at his question. "Your closet loves me," she grinned cheekily, taking a sip of juice. "But, yes, it's wonderful. I sleep very well with you beside me," she said sincerely. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Lavender pushed her hair off her shoulder and continued with her breakfast. "Do you have plans this weekend? I was thinking about going up to see my dad and I want him to meet you... and no, I don't think I'm ready to tell him anything yet. She smiled over at him, her cheeks pinkening when she saw him watching her. Lavender washed their dishes, stacking them in the drainer to dry then went to the refrigerator to get herself more juice. "I did all these things before when I lived alone... but I seem to enjoy them more when you're here. Do you think I'm clingy?" she smiled as she rested her elbows on the counter and watched him in return.

Lavender laughed, nodding a little. "Yeah, I like that kind of clinging too," she winked.

"I don't think you're clingy, I think you're wonderful," she said sincerely. Lavender walked over and gently pushed on his shoulder, turning his body some so she could sit in his lap. "And you spoil me," she grinned, draping on arm around his shoulders, her other hand touching the charm at her neck.

	"I'm always worried you'll think I'm getting too serious too fast," he admitted. Kevin rested his hands on her thighs and looked up at her. He loved this closeness. 	Lavender shook her head then leaned closer, resting her head on his shoulder as he held her. "No, I want this forever, too. It is fast, but it just... feels right.
