Who: Kevin and Lavender
What: Kevin buys Lavender a cheer up present
Where: Their flat
When: Wednesday before work.

He left it on his pillow in the morning and got up extra early. Kevin went downstairs, walked the dog, and started to make breakfast in his pajamas and flip flops.

He hummed as he scrambled eggs and the sound of his own voice masked her footsteps on the stairs when she got up.

	She nodded. "I can see if Hermione can spare an hour or so," she suggested. Lavender got off his lap and went over to the small desk, pausing as she walking, thinking about her dad and her brothers. 	Maybe they didn't know each other as well as they could, but they knew the important things and people all over the world had happy marriages with people they knew a lot less going into it. Kevin knew he loved her, he knew he needed her, and he knew that they were perfectly matched because of their wolfy little problems. "I'll go send an owl off to Gordie." 	Lavender watched him then followed him, grabbing him by the arm as she turned him and pulled him close to her. "Hey... hey..." she smiled up at him. "Do you think the Ministry could provide witesses?" she asked softly. "Can this just be you and me... then we can tell all our friends and have a party or something?" she asked of him. 	Kevin had a hard time finding much in his closet that looked nice. He finally found a pair of black slacks and a light blue button up shirt. It wasn't white, but he was pretty sure he had a white tie he'd never worn and a black blazer he could throw on. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Lavender pulled her hair down, running her fingers through it before she pulled a pale pink dress over her head. It fell just above the knee, and while it wasn't white, it was close enough. She slid her feet into a pair of heels and was tying the sash in the back as she walked out of the closet. "Let me just pull my hair up and then we can go," she grinned excitedly. After all, it was her wedding day.

	Lavender followed not far behind, her fingers deftly working through her hair, separating it into sections that she twirled and started to pin up once she was in front of the mirror. "You know... we're not supposed to see each other," she teased, pinning the sections into place atop her head, sections coming loose that she let hand down around her face.
