As usual, Gavin was up by the crack of dawn. There was almost an alarm clock inside the boy's mind that made it impossible to not wake with the rising sun. It may have been from the years of having an east facing room on the shoreline which meant more light going through the curtains and making his room go from black to the middle of the sun in seconds. That or his habit of actually getting to bed at a reasonable time. Either way it meant he was up and ready to take a shower. And while a shower is all well and good there is a time where he would be done and still have Haydn sleeping.
Gavin had been rooming with Haydn for a number of months already but the boy's inability to wake up at a normal hour was still hard for the Nantucket native to grasp. Even his twin got up before 8:30 every morning whether it was her choice or not. Maybe he was simply not used to having a roommate still? The boy knew the Michigan kid had no one in his room for a while since he was at the school since its first few weeks. Gavin and Savannah had arrived later on and now she was the one lacking a roommate for the time being. Luckily the school's population was growing which meant the halls would be bustling with people. That would also mean the good breakfast food would be gone.
Having told that to Haydn a number of times, he was hoping that it would have gotten through. However now that Gavin stood with a towel around his neck and eyes on the sleeping Jewish boy, he gave up hope on nicely hinting. Figuring it would be better to get dressed before any drastic measures. Last time he did something like this it was to Savannah's best female friend who nearly had a heart attack at him shaking her awake in neon blue boxers. Though entertaining at first, getting an earful from Savannah was always a nightmare.
Pulling on a pair of shorts and a shirt that could have belonged to either boy- sharing clothes was sadly becoming a common habit, made Gavin feel almost like a girl- the blond walked over to the Jew's bed. There was a few times that Gavin called his name, then poked the boy a few times only getting swatted at. Finally the Mass boy eyed the alarm clock that he had been fixing for the past week. It had the insides open, including a wire that connected to the alarm section- the source of the clock's issues. See the clock was not getting the right amount of power to go off. An idea clicked in the mind of the blond as he picked up the black clock and put it on the other boy's shoulder blades. Muttering a very short apology, the blond began to poke at the open wires. Once he hit the right one, a piercing shriek echoed in the room and into Haydn's ears.
