Who: Poe and Aaron (With special guest star Uncle Preston!)
What: Pizza, Movies, and a Sleepover
Where: Bathos 502
When: Wednesday night
Warnings: Boyish shenanigans and Aaron being the mayor of Oblivious Town.
Aaron couldn't remember the last time he'd had a real guy's night. Being the little brother of his high school cheering squad had lead to him being perpetually surrounded by girls. Not that he was complaining, of course, but it would be nice to hang out with a fellow man for a night. Despite the fact that he and Poe shared a love of traditionally "girly" sports, they were both still men. Tough, manly, growing men. Aaron maintained that this applied to him one hundred percent, even if he did spend his free time in red pajamas.
With a duffel bag hanging off his right shoulder, he walked absently through the lobby of the Bathos apartment complex. It hadn't been until Poe's text that he realized the other boy had yet to see his face. It was weird, the fact that this guy had been willing to invite him to his uncle's place without ever seeing what he looked like. But he supposed it wasn't as if they hadn't met - after all, they'd spent some time talking at the march. It called into question the importance of a face. What did faces mean? And what did that say of masks? Was Poe hoping to meet with Aaron again, or was it Spider-Man? Not the real Spider-Man, of course, but the fake one. That was also real.
Shaking his head, Aaron shifted his grip on the pizza box. No, he wasn't going to think about that. That way lead to madness. He wasn't going mad today. Today was for some good old-fashioned hanging out. No anxiety, no worries. Even if Poe did have a picture of him in the Spidey suit, his face wasn't showing. And the ballerina didn't know. That's all that mattered. Now, Aaron just had to wait for his gracious host to arrive.
