Who: Bunny & Luke
What: Bunny has to tell someone so...she goes to Luke, because he likes comic books and would totally understand, right? Right. Poor guy.
Where: Hamartia 504
When: Sunday 9AM. Morning after this.
Warnings: Rambling, gushy, girliness, and super awkwardness.
Usually Bunny didn't come around to Luke's place by herself. She was allergic to dark places and mean people, and you know...the possibility of being hurt, 99.9% of the time. Luke's neighborhood made her uncomfortable, but she had no problem walking to the Hamartia that morning. She was too busy brimming with excitement and giddiness to process any real sense of danger. She just...really needed to talk to someone at that moment, and she could talk to Alice, but Alice sometimes didn't give the appropriate amount of attention. Most of the time that didn't bother her, but she really needed someone who understood what it meant to be rescued by a masked vigilante in the middle of the night! If she didn't tell someone she was going to explode. She was very sure this was going to happen in a very literal sense.
She'd hardly been able to sleep the night before, brimming with excitement. She'd actually woken up pretty early, and began her journey over to his apartment. Finding it on her own hadn't been too hard. Luckily, she didn't fail at remembering directions. Going into the building, she opted to take the stairs instead of the elevator. That lasted two flights once she remembered he was on the fifth floor. The elevator just looked like a death trap, but it was a risk she was willing to take. This was mostly because she was winded. Stamina? She had not, despite her daily run from the bus stop to the comic book store! It was probably more psychological than actually physical, but she wouldn't believe it if someone told her.
She hadn't quite caught her breath when the elevator came to a stop. She took a few breaths before making her way toward his apartment door. She leaned against the frame and knocked enthusiastically. Was he still asleep? Maybe she should've called first. She should have called first, because if he wasn't there she was gonna be so upset. This building was so CREEPY.
