Pre-Fireworks Fooding!
Who: Jamison and guests (basically anyone who wants to show up)!
When: July 4th, between 12pm and 8pm.
Where: The backyard at Jamison's place.
What: BBQ goodness and socializing.
Rating: PG (let me know if it needs to be changed.)
To say Jamison had been preparing for this barbecue for days wouldn't be an exaggeration. He had enough meat in enough varieties to feed a small army. Every bit of beef, chicken, and pork had been marinated, dry-rubbed, or slathered to perfection in the Hildred family's very own barbecue sauce. There were hot dogs and bratwursts aplenty, ready to go on the grill at a moment's notice, and Jamison had even requisitioned two kegs from Styx and Stones. They were set up by the patio door, next to the table where plates, cup, and all the necessaries were laid out. Decked out in his grilling gear and shades by noon, all this barbecue needed now was for his guests to arrive. Welcome or otherwise.
