Characters are allowed to move freely from their world to the titular Bar At The End Of The Universe through doors - which on their side of the door might be anything from a porthole to a hole in the ground, and from there can either willingly move back and forth between worlds, stay upstairs at the Bar's inn or be "Bound" or trapped at Milliways without an escape hatch back for any length of time. thedisplaced a panfandom rpg [03 Mar 2020|04:48pm] THE DISPLACED A Multifandom Game I'd say welcome, but there really is no easy way to put this: you've been "infected" by something called Tachyons — okay, so maybe infected is a bad choice of words — you have been exposed to Tachyon particles, and now every time the Rift opens up, you (along with others) are dragged along through time and space to a new universe. What universe? You have no way of knowing until you've started exploring. thedisplaced is a friendly, active community that's been going strong for three and a half years now. But don't let its age intimidate you! There is plenty of room for new players and their characters. The game primarily takes place in a fictional Texas small town, but due to the instability caused by a rift in spacetime, the setting does sometimes temporarily change as well as other shenanigans. We allow AU versions of multifandom characters, as well as characters from previous games. However, players must get permission to play canonmates and love interests for everyone's comfort.
