Premise
Light the Beacon is a panfandom RPG set in the fictional town of Beacon Hills and will loosely follow the plot arc of Teen Wolf, though prior knowledge of the show and plot are not required.
In the fall of 2011, Scott McCall, Stiles Stilinski, and Allison Argent performed a sacrificial ritual to save their parents from being killed. In doing so, they supercharged the Nemeton, a Druid Sacred Space on the outskirts of town, which will attract supernatural creatures to Beacon Hills (essentially "lighting" the beacon).
The ritual worked but left the three with nightmares and other lingering after effects. Weeks later, the ritual had an unexpected side effect. In addition to attracting supernatural creatures from their own dimension to town, it turned the Nemeton into a portal of sorts and started dragging people from other universes, some previously believed to be fictional, to the town.
These new arrivals couldn't seem to return to their own worlds. In addition, if they fell asleep outside of the town limits, they would wake up back in Beacon Hills the next day. The Sheriff worked with the town government to set up housing for these transplants while everyone scrambled to figure out what exactly happened and how to reverse it.
