You've been pulling into Pacis Urbs by the Machine, congratulations! Everyone's very nice and apologetic about it (so sorry you're here, our mistake, Machine's fault). They're also eager to get you home. There's only one catch: if you want to get home quick (or at all?), you have to pay for it.
How do you do that?
Simple: you can do chores around the barracks, like cooking or cleaning; you can work the Otherworlder run club that caters to exotic Native tastes; or you can play in the Games. Of all the choices, the Games are the best choice for making quick cash. These gladiator styled contests cater to all tastes, ranging from playful and innocent to down right sinister and sadistic. The higher the risk, the higher the pay, the sooner you can get home (if you trust what anyone here says).
With all the ways to sell yourself on Campus, getting home should be easy, right? Just forget your morals, your scruples, and do what you have to do (or not. What will you do to get home?). Not everyone brought here appreciates being kidnapped and collared and "forced" to play the Scientists games. They can't reach the scientists but you--you who is playing along with this(or are you)? They can reach you. Smash up the cogs, you smash up the system. On the other hand, there are those who like this world better than there own and will do anything to gain the Scientists favor and stay in this better world.
In this new place, you're going to need some allies (or you could try going it alone). You should choose your next move wisely, because surviving your choice still means you have to live with it.
