On a gorgeous island in the south Caribbean, there is a resort run by the twin gods Apollo and Artemis. It is Juluca, a place of luscious natural beauty and infinite leisure. It is so heavenly that time seems to stop there - and, in fact, it does.
People come to Juluca and leave behind their own lives, their own worlds. While they are there, nothing passes in their home. They travel freely between home and island by means of an object gifted to them by the gods, which transports them with only a thought.
Sometimes while in Juluca, you can meet another version of yourself, from another world, another place; sometimes you meet perfectly normal people, and sometimes you meet creatures of legend.
You can leave when you like, but why would you want to? This is Juluca.
