[From the second she sees his name, Laura loses it. Her teeth grind together, her lips form a fine line, and her fingers start to shake. She even gets a little sick to her stomach as the memories replay in her head. There's anger and sadness and disbelief. There is the moment her heart breaks and when she decides it's just not working out. There is being alone.
How dare he come back now! How dare he talk about being a reincarnate so nonchalantly! How dare he come here for his fresh start when she was trying to have one of her own!
Laura turns her head toward the picture of her child. She shuts her eyes before she can see it, but she doesn't need to physically look upon it anymore. After so many times of staring at it, it's become ingrained in her mind. When the little things —the way he wrapped his small fingers around one of hers or the way his eyes widened slightly just before he was going to be sick— fade away, it will be that picture that stays. It muffles her anger and allows enough sadness to creep in that she turns her attention away from the photograph and her son.
After sliding her chair away from her desk, she slowly walks across the room to her bed where she crawls onto it. Her head doesn't reach her pillows before she falls down. Her face smashes into the comforter. The last thing Laura needs to do is dwell on his return. The past is in the past which means it should all be over for her, but it's obviously not as over as she would like it to be. But it's something she can't bring herself to change quite yet.]

Alex is here, and I don't know what to make of it.
But I'm mostly angry. It's the mostly that has me worried.
