Would anyone know where I might be able to find a doctor or a nurse or something? It's not an emergency or...anything like that, but I do believe I've hurt myself. And I'm not supposed to be clumsy. Just a little bit?
I'm just not very familiar with...what to do about this kind of thing.

The final day of class is finally upon us! It was a real pleasure to be able to get to know you all and guide you this semester. As always, there will be tons of goodies to celebrate the end of term in [room number here] and to bid those leaving us permanently farewell. Any student is welcome to drop by during their free time to grab some snacks since there's always more than enough.

Any gardeners around these parts? I've only planted vegetables a few times in my life and it was mostly when I was in college. It's never been my best area - is it too late to plant any vegetables? I'd like to give it a try again. Pointers would be greatly appreciated.

This summer is going to be a little weird for me. My boys are going away for two weeks to spend time with their uncle and go to space camp. This leaves a lot of time to myself, which I'm sadly unprepared for! I have some hobby classes that I'm teaching throughout the summer, but what am I supposed to do after? I know this sounds pathetic, but for those of you with children - what do you do when they're gone for long periods of time?

This week has been so crazy and awesome at the same time. I scored a job interview, have an excuse to finally quit that god awful sales person gig and got to fake!fire someone. It was amazing, the poor guy had tears in his eyes. Proof that my deadpan is incredible. I should probably take up acting but then all the Oscars would go to me and that would make the awards show terribly redundant.
Perhaps the best thing of all: FINAL DAY OF CLASSES. I really hope I don't have to see some of these people again next year.

What does your schedule look like in August? Please don't let this be a longshot I'm probably going to Seoul for a week and was wondering if you'd pleasepleaseplease come with me. I have to be utterly lame and visit my homophobic grandfather out of obligation to my fantastic mother and I'm not really into doing it by myself. Then I'm just going to hang out with my equally fabulous cousin for a few days. BONUSES - because you know there are - um, authentic badass food, me, a hotel - also featuring me, we'd be able to spend time in a real city for a little while, me - did I mention me?

May I remind my students that it would be in your best interest to memorize your final monologues? A few of you have them down pat, and I applaud you! If you come in, and repeat five lines, and stammer, and stutter, then I'll mark your final grade down significantly!

Creative highs are excellent. That's +10,000 words to my creative thesis, and what is hopefully a solid enough end to my third screenplay for my adviser. Looking forward to her 3am emails.
Freshman English Composition-ites, just a reminder that papers are due the Wednesday before the end of Finals Week. That's May 16th. They can also be turned in earlier, of course. 1500 words, cite your sources, yadda yadda yadda.
I know what apparently happened in the most recent GoT episode, but someone explain the why of it to me.

I can't sit through any more of this studying. My entire door is covered in sticky notes. I dropped one of my books on the stove because I was reading while making dinner. Apparently multi-tasking is not one of my fortes. Seared off the skin from the tip of my left pointer finger. The price of knowledge!
But I must say, really, I owe thanks to many of you! I was in a terrible mood last week and your encouragement, suggestions, and your humor really lifted my spirits. Lily, I owe you the deepest thanks. Your advice really helped put things in perspective. Camilla, I loved running with you! If ever you'd like company again, please consider me. As well as spoil ourselves with that dessert. Further plans for making finals a much more bearable week include ice cream and hugs by Sam's inspiration and painting quotes on my ceiling by Professor Anderlini's inspiration. And once the finals are over, picnics and parties!
To those who are graduating this semester - CONGRATULATIONS! I'm sure it's a royal pain in the behind, but this is the home stretch!
