As I've been in court the last few weeks I haven't had a chance to properly introduce myself here before now. For most of you, I am Professor Roux and I teach torts in the School of Law. I am also the founder of the Law Society on campus which I strongly suggest that all law students join if they not already members.
I see many familiar faces both old and new around already though, I am sure you all will make it a very interesting term.

It truly was a pleasure to run into you once more, Jude. Know that you are welcome to drop by my office any time, I am almost always able to make time for a brother dear friend.

A week seems a little long to hold a grudge over such a trivial matter, doesn't it?

I have a term paper on "theme in poetry" based on one of the collections we're overviewing in the class. There are no instructions other than that the paper must be at least 25 pages.
John Donne's sonnet "XIV" is very... interesting in light of this particular vantage point things. I think I'll use the whole set.

I miss Martinique. I miss the warmth, and the beach, and the cute little outfits I could wear without having to worry about possibly dealing with frost-bitten knees.
If I want to continue to dress the way I do I might need to invest in a longer, thicker coat. Or start bringing a blanket to my classes. I think it's worth a little shivering when I know I look good, but I'm a Levesque and that means it's practically a crime to go out anywhere looking less than the best I can. That's also why I work hard at everything I do, because I don't want to reflect badly on my brother.
London, are we still on for dinner at the diner tonight?
