This is the first time in forever that the New Year has felt like something different than the year prior.
One thing I will say for this university. It definitely make you feel at home. Even my Lecture classes are surprisingly interesting. The MMA group has started and it happens to be the day before the Close Combat Team and Combined Arms Club... I think I love my schedule for that reason. Talk- talk- fight- fight - talk - fight. See I can balance.

[Loud music can be heard in the background as the cell phone camera is trained on a guy playing a bass guitar on stage. Glasses can be heard clinking, as well as some muffled speaking before a very distinct voice is heard (though not seen).]
Check out that motherfucking hipster up there killing it on the stage. He's hot, right? Totally fuckable, could probably get any chick up in this piece, but he invited me. [she laughs, the noise less warm and friendly and more like a witch's cackle] That's right, pretty fucking model hipster boy whaling on the Pedulla bass making eyes in my general direction is my sexy ex-ie, and apparently~ [her tone goes all sing-song] I'm his muse.
[she cackles again] He's been sending me drinks all night. He totally thinks he's getting laided...ededed...ded tonight, but he's not gonna~! See... [her voice drops to just above a whisper] I like someone else. No... I really like someone else. And while back in the day just a month or two ago Mister Man up there got my engine revved, I've met someone else who I'm ready to let take a ride on the Aria-bahn. [she pauses] That was super fucking lame.
[a sigh] Anyway, I'm way too drunk to drive, and this show is nearly over so unless someone coughAidanmaybepleasecoughorBastienperhapscoughcough comes to rescue me I'm probably not coming home tonight. [someone puts a drink down in front of her]
Ooh, a bacchus espresso martini, Aria likey, me gusta! [the camera shakes slightly as she gestures to the guy on stage] Four for you, Trent Baxter, you go Trent Baxter. Nom nom nom... and none for Arron Belmont. [with that, the camera flicks off]

Classes have started, and I'm sure you're all excited.
For those of you students who aren't sure if you're in the right major, please familiarize yourself with the the date we stop accepting withdrawals and course changes.

Ok. First, I'd like to apologize to Mordred's roommate for pushing him off the bed when I woke up on New Year's Day. But I can't be blamed for the reaction, I did wake up in a strange place with a random person in the bed.
Second, Thank you Mordred for helping me have a fun New Year's. I've never had so much fun, even though I can't remember most of the night.
And Lastly, the audition sign-up for Les Miserables is up for anyone interested in Auditioning. Being a Theater major is not a requirement.

I'm starting to think that maybe I'll just have a bunch of tests this year, and then elect one person who just grades all the tests for me and if they don't mess up, they get an A. Maybe I'll build a robot who wants to grade all of these papers. Better yet, I will train my cat to grade the papers. If there's cat pee on them, that means you failed, if there's bitey marks, that's a C and if there are paw prints, it means you passed.
Next stop after that? Robot cats that grade papers and make tea.

Dude, no matter how old I get, getting a package from my mom is still really exciting! And she sent a bunch of delicious baked goods and TONS of recipes, which is totally awesome. She also sent some of the presents my relatives got me for Chanukah, like Bubbe gave me an awesome laptop case. Now I'm finally like all the other cool kids with cool MacBook covers! Thanks, Bubbe (but she's not going to see this so I'll have to call her later and tell her that).
Definitely bringing some of the aforementioned baked goodies to my section tomorrow. The kids are going to be so excited. I've got a couple choices, so I'm going to take a poll!What do I make to bring to the kids?
