PLOT WITH ME
First and foremost, the mod team would like to wish everyone a happy new year! We hope we can serve you well in this new year, and that we can provide you with as much fun as possible. As always, any comments/concerns can go in our modbox. Everyone please have a safe and happy 2012!
( Two quick notes. )
Onto the subject at hand -- This will be our first of many plot posts, which are exactly what they say! This is a plot post designed specifically for all of you to develop some plot ideas. Please post your name in the subject line, and all of your characters in a comment, with or without usernames. Feel free to also include which of your characters you'd like ideas for. Players, please comment to one another! A silly idea, a sexy idea: any idea, as long as it is IC for your character(s).
But please keep in mind that nothing is to be taken personally. If a player would prefer not to go through with a plot idea, it should not be taken as a personal attack. Don't worry if you can't comment on the first day; you can always come back to this plot post and give others the link to your thread. Most importantly, this is for development, or help if you're in a rut. Use it as much as you'd like! And don't worry about spamming. We like spam. (When we don't have to get the notifs for it.)

Hello there! I'm Jackie. My apologies for being late to the party, but I was New Years-ing (Yes, that's totally a verb now. I'm a teacher. I can totally do that.) it up with the Beast. He is a very demanding Beast, you must understand, so being productive had to temporarily be put on hold. Alas. But he's sleeping now, so: HELLO! Nice to meet you!
This here is Adrianne - otherwise knows as Ariadne of Crete, Our Lady of Bad Decisions.
Seriously. The moniker applies no matter what incarnation we're talking about. Life Choices: Less than Optimal. It's kind of sad, really. But, yes, this one ran away from home to New York City at sixteen - with a boy that gambled away her cash and dumped her via text (Thanks, buddy!) - where she ended up working for a drag-queen and basically letting down every single expectation that her parents had ever set for her. Whoops.
Anyway! In short: Ariadne is a cranky, sarcastic thing with some serious trust issues. And in possession of a lot more bark than bite, really. (Not that she'd go around advertising that particular detail.) She's majoring in business, is way too practical, and seriously needs to lighten the hell up. Any help with this would be most appreciated. By me. Probably not by her - but that's just tough, now isn't it?

Um yeah, shoulda done this last night, my bad! Samma here with my second charrie. Here's Ma'at! She's a professor of law: international and ethics. She's pretty laid back most of the time, unless you try to rile her up then she just rises to meet the challenge. If there are wrongs she tries to right them, and she likes having a sense of balance. Chaos...yeah, that is not in her vocabulary. She's pretty professional acting, even out of the classroom.
She hates compliments - so flirty boys and gals...you probably won't get too far with her. She does love her daddy and siblings. So her 'family' are probably going to be the only ones she's really open with. Um let's see what else...ah yes. She can see the truth while one is speaking unless the person happens to be the patron saint of lying or whathaveyou. Needless to say she's very skeptical and BLUNT. She tries to be nice, really. Sometimes?
So anything you want to toss at her, have at it. I'm all for random threads and making up some kind of odd history! Past run-ins would be awesome so she can roll her eyes even more and heave a 'omg why me' sigh. ;p
