Well... addiction may be too strong of a word. Some people can feel withdrawal from caffeine, but unlike real drugs it can't do physical damage. So it isn't illegal. At least not in tea, coffee, soft drinks or other manufactured products such as those.

Pure or highly concentrated caffeine in powder or liquid forms are considered unlawful in large quantities if sold directly to a consumer becuase, as with just about anything, too much is not a good thing. But the amount in a cup of coffee or tea is enough to keep you awake.

	I suppose so. Those I suppose you could call herbal infusions to avoid confusion, as the actual definition of tea usually involves an actual tea plant. I've heard of coffee, I'm not really familiar with it yet. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
